Charlie Kirk Pushes to Erase Floyd Monuments as Part of Undoing 2020

Clear Facts
- Washington D.C. has removed the Black Lives Matter street mural near the White House.
- There are calls to remove statues and murals honoring George Floyd and Black Lives Matter across the country.
- The events of 2020 led to a significant increase in the murder rate and widespread urban destruction.
Recently, Washington D.C. took a significant step by removing the Black Lives Matter street mural that had been prominently displayed near the White House. This move marks a shift in addressing the remnants of 2020, a year that left deep scars on the nation.
The removal of the mural is seen by many as a necessary action to begin undoing the legacy of 2020. It is argued that cities should go further, eliminating monuments to George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter movement. Statues of Floyd, such as those in Newark and New York City, are criticized for not honoring great individuals or causes.
“Floyd himself lived a sad, wasted life of drugs, violence, and crime,” and his death, while tragic, should not be immortalized in public spaces. The movement associated with him, Black Lives Matter, is accused of having caused more harm than good.
Black Lives Matter is blamed for a wave of urban destruction and a dramatic increase in the murder rate from 2019 to 2021. This increase is described as “the largest in American history,” resulting in thousands of unnecessary deaths. The monuments and murals associated with this movement are seen as symbols of chaos rather than justice.
Meanwhile, historical monuments that celebrated American heritage were vandalized or removed in 2020. Statues of figures like Abraham Lincoln and George Washington were targeted, and many have not been restored. This loss is viewed as an attack on American unity.
The events of 2020 are seen as an attempt to reset the American system, driven by a radical agenda. The remnants of this period still linger, and there is a call to remove these reminders and restore what was lost. The authority to make these changes lies with local communities, and the recent actions in Washington D.C. offer hope for a broader movement across the country.
The year 2020 is remembered as a low point in American history, and there is a growing desire to move past it and heal the nation.

Floyd was nothing more than a filthy criminal drug dealer, scammer, and since he dealt his filth to neighborhood children for a profit, he was a murderer too, comrade obama used floyd in his diabolical scheme to create racial division among Americans, and to create lies about a police officer who did nothing wrong but his job exactly the way he was taught, since then, obama has been proven to be as much of a lowlife scum as floyd was and comrade obama should be right in the same cell as the hero Derek Chauvin is now in and Chauvin should be pardoned immediately !!!

Agreed! Derek Chauvin did the Right Thing and probably saved many from the future horrible crimes Floyd would have committed. Hero and deserves to be free and well compensated for the poor way he was treated by the police and courts. Remove ALL references to Floyd, monuments etc, and get rid of the term “BLM” – all lives matter, equally.

You are right. The whole thing was tried by the media to destroy evidence. Coroner’s office report was Floyd died from overdose of drugs. The riots were encouraged by the Democrat, Chinese Communism propaganda, BLM organization to riots everywhere. The riot people were baled out by the Democrat politicians and not made responsible for all the deaths, Law Enforcement deaths and station set on fire, vehicles units destroyed. Officer charged with Floyd death, he didn’t kill Floyd.

I agree! It’s unfortunate that Floyd died in his drugged state of mind but, if he wasn’t breaking the law when confronted, he might still be alive. He was violent and out of control. The method of constraining him was taught in police academy training. Chauvin should never have been charged – what a dishonor to our men and women in blue! Obama started the race-baiting from day one. Tear down Floyd’s statue and re-resurrect the statues of American heroes once again.

Floyd drowned. The coroner said his lungs were fluid filled and weighed 3Xs what is normal. When standing, the fluid tends to collect in the bottom of the lungs, leaving some area at the top for O2 to still be absorbed. Laying prone floods that area. That’s how fentanyl can kill.

Looking back, it almost seem like the progressive/woke, Soros-funded mobs were just waiting for a spark to light their destructive anti-American fuse.
George Floyd unknowing provided that spark, and the dems were off and running toward Trump’s demise.

George Floyed was a drug addicit and a thug. Making him a hero is giving young blacks the idea they can be stupid just like him. Most young black men today are already stupid and idiots because they thiunk they are smarter then everybody else!
