Chris Pratt Marks Son’s Big Birthday With Rare Tribute

Chris Pratt marked a special milestone as his son Jack turned 13 this week. The actor shared a collection of rare memories embracing fatherhood and reflecting on having a teenager at home.
Photos showed Pratt and Jack bonding by wearing matching Dodgers jerseys, celebrating as Detroit Lions fans, and trying out activities like feeding a baby cow and welding.
“Jack, I can’t believe you are 13 today. I’ve watched you grow into such an incredible young man, and am truly proud of the person you are becoming.”
Pratt shared his gratitude and faith, ending with, “I love you! Jesus is King!”
During a television interview, Pratt described how Jack’s premature birth seven weeks early changed his perspective on life and faith. Jack was born weighing only 3 pounds, 10 ounces and faced health challenges.
“The most impactful moment was when my son was born. He was born early and had some health scares, and in that moment, I really made some deals with God, as you do when you’re praying, and I felt like if you save my son, I will give you everything.”
Pratt continued, “I’ll give you my life. I’ll give you my platform. I won’t be ashamed to talk to you or talk about you. And he did save my son, and I’ve been trying to make good on that promise ever since.”
Pratt and Anna Faris were married for eight years before separating in 2017; their divorce was finalized in 2018. Pratt later married Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019, and together they have two daughters and a son.
Family remains a priority for Pratt, who credits traditional values and his Christian faith as central to his life and parenting.
