CNN’s Anderson Cooper Calls Out Former GOP Gov

Clear Facts
- CNN’s Anderson Cooper called former Republican New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu a “dick” during a live television debate over FEMA’s spending on housing illegal migrants in luxury hotels.
- Elon Musk, leading the Department of Government Efficiency, revealed FEMA’s $59 million expenditure on luxury hotels for migrants, sparking controversy and resulting in the firing of four FEMA employees.
- New York City officials have used upscale hotels to house migrants, while the Biden campaign denies Trump’s claims about the misuse of federal funds for luxury accommodations.
In a heated exchange on CNN, anchor Anderson Cooper did not hold back, labeling former Republican New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu a “dick” during a discussion on FEMA’s controversial spending. The debate centered around the revelation that FEMA allocated $59 million to house illegal migrants in luxury hotels, a move criticized for violating an executive order from former President Donald Trump.
Elon Musk, at the helm of the Department of Government Efficiency, brought this spending to light, pointing fingers at FEMA for the misuse of funds. Cooper, however, challenged the evidence, stating, “[Musk] is giving very specific things, but he’s not actually giving any evidence of that.”
The tension escalated when Sununu questioned Cooper’s stance on the matter, leading to Cooper’s sharp retort: “No, I’m not saying it’s okay, don’t put words in my mouth. Don’t be a dick.”
Despite the fiery exchange, Cooper later apologized to Sununu for his choice of words as the segment concluded.
The fallout from this spending revelation was swift, with the Trump administration confirming the dismissal of four FEMA employees, including its chief financial officer. The administration condemned the spending as “egregious.”
Meanwhile, New York City has been grappling with an influx of migrants, resorting to housing them in four-star hotels like the Collective Paper Factory and The Row. City officials maintain that the funds were appropriately used under the previous Biden administration, despite accusations to the contrary.
As the debate over federal spending continues, Musk has dismantled the U.S. Agency of International Development, citing wasteful spending on global initiatives. He has also announced plans to scrutinize other federal agencies, including the Department of Education and the military, for potential financial mismanagement.

Cooper has no basis to legitimately challenge the evidence brought out by DOGE when he said, “[Musk] is giving very specific things, but he’s not actually giving any evidence of that.” DOGE officers under Musk’s direction IS uncovering massive amounts of evidence, but… Cooper is the epitome of how the Liberal dimwitted fruitcakes operate. They can’t discern what is presented as being relevant evidence about the misuse of funds, the bloating of the many federal organizations & programs that exist; some of which are outright bogus, a front for pilfering the funds into their pockets. That is why various employees are fired and/or the programs/organizations themselves are being shut down with the funds obtained being returned to the Federal money pot.
I have no doubt Cooper was receiving kickbacks through the network he’s worked for for some time now. They are the face of their network and because of their complete loyalty to what the company owners tell them to present, they are paid as much as they are, which is an obscene amount.
