D.C. police officer receives ‘disturbing’ voicemail while testifying in Jan. 6 probe [Video]

- D.C. Metropolitan Police Officer Michael Fanone shared on Don Lemon Tonight that he received the voicemail while he was delivering his testimony.
- The voicemail contains expletives and offensive language directed at Fanone and other police officers.
A police officer who testified at the first House committee hearing to investigate the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection received a disturbing voicemail from a stranger.
Appearing on Don Lemon Tonight on Tuesday, D.C. Metropolitan Police Officer Michael Fanone said he received the voicemail while he was delivering his testimony.
Host Don Lemon warned that the voicemail “includes some incredibly offensive language” before playing it on air.
“We think people need to hear the kind of attacks that these officers are facing right now,” Lemon said. “Just for telling the truth about Jan. 6.”
The voicemail, which is almost one minute long, contains expletives and offensive language directed at Fanone and other police officers.
Fanone told Lemon this is not the first time people have expressed similar opinions to him.
Fanone also shared that he is actually a plainclothes narcotics officer. On Jan. 6, he put on a uniform for the first time in nearly 10 years to respond to the calls for help.
On Tuesday, he testified that during the insurrection he was tased, beaten, and at risk of being stripped off and shot with his own gun. He also told Lemon that he suffered a traumatic brain injury, heart attack, concussion and was even diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Some GOP lawmakers have claimed that there was no armed insurrection that happened on Jan.6. For Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson, it was a “peaceful protest.”
Fanone called the Republicans’ stance “disgraceful” during his testimony Tuesday, adding that it’s the reason why a voicemail like this can and does happen.
“I remember my first reaction immediately after listening to that phone call,” Fanone said. “This is what happens to people that tell the truth in Trump’s America.”

Because this whole committee is political theater, and how things were distorted by the democrats during sham impeachment #2, I would not be surprised if someone on their own team made this voicemail. There’s leaked evidence in videos as to what happened on 1/6, and who killed Mrs. Babbitt. And what the capital police did to rally supporters on the ground, tear gas and rubber bullets, and caused one other death that people aren’t aware of. Hopefully the truth will come out.

Really? Now why should anyone believe him? Police officers in Seattle and Portland as well as other areas in our country have had to face worse on a continuous basis and we don’t hear them complaining! Also, why is there a need for a plainclothes narc in the capitol police department? If he experienced all those aliment, he should retire with a medical! Besides, the communist house leader is ram rodding this current comedy !

If this true they’d have the phone traced and by now the person would be on cnn “clown news network ” and chained to lashing pole for his PELOSI 100 slurred words speech … Donnie boy would be crying for repeat lashing from more right wingers…
