Democrat Insists Party Showed Respect for Cancer Survivor by Not Clapping

Democratic Texas Rep. Greg Casar, a member of “The Squad,” argued that this was a demonstration of respect for the young survivor.
Casar stated, “Every Democrat stands with enormous respect for the American people, whether they agree with us or not, and especially for those who are ill and struggling.” This response came after being questioned if Democrats regretted their reaction to Trump’s recognition of Daniel.
While Casar insisted that Democrats hold respect for Americans, including those facing health challenges, the majority of them stayed seated and silent as Trump announced Daniel’s honorary role as an agent of the U.S. Secret Service.
Casar further elaborated, “What Democrats stand against is Elon Musk and Donald Trump ripping cancer research to shreds in order to give billionaire tax cuts.” He criticized the alleged actions of firing healthcare professionals to benefit financially.
The decision to remain seated was not isolated to Daniel’s recognition. Democrats also refrained from applauding other moments, such as the announcement of the U.S. capturing an ISIS-K jihadist linked to the Kabul bombing and tributes to victims of violent crimes involving Venezuelan nationals.
Casar’s comments highlight a tension between showing respect for individuals and opposing certain political figures and policies. Despite the quiet reception, he maintained, “Every single Democrat has enormous respect for the American people and for cancer survivors.”

It is very sad that Democrats won’t stand and applaud anyone who was introduced last night. The Republicans absolutely did not do this the last administration in the disgusting way Donald Trump was treated last night or another time he has been in the government. Shame on them! So… for them NOT to clap shows respect, then when Trump was mentioning various things, did that mean they were in agreement or showed approval by clapping like the Republicans did? No.
So… by remaining seated and not clapping was their way of showing support, like they inferred about the previous statement, yet did stand with the others across the isle when Trump mentioned the cancer survivor, did that mean they were showing support? NOT AT ALL.
For the Democrats to remain seated and not clapping as everyone else did shows exactly how much DIS-respect they have to our POTUS, VP, and the Americans who supposedly voted them into office. It is NOT their way of showing respect & support by any stretch of the word, because the Liberal Democrats are completely delusional in what they consider to be reality. They are showing their true colors more and more as the months pass by, and it’s absolutely despicable to see.

Horseshit!!! He tried to put a positive spin on their theatrics during the presentation and those being honored by President Trump. Democrats still believe they can tell Americans any b.s. and we’ll believe them. The more they are exposed to the sun the more they melt away. By the time he’s done, Trump and Republicans may completely destroy these liars; hopefully, placing many of them either in jail, or forcing them to resign in shame. In my opinion, democrats never apologize; never accept responsibility nor admit failure; immediately blame others for their stupidity; and lie, cheat, and steal every time they can get away with it. America watched these clowns in disgust. And fortunately for America, many of these viewers will never vote for a democrat for any office again.
