Bucks Coal Fired Pizza in North Palm Beach introduced what they claim is the planet’s first-ever iguana pizza.

The restaurant created the pizza after the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission issued an executive order on February 1 and 2, permitting locals to remove cold-stunned green iguanas.

Green iguanas are considered invasive and harmful to Florida’s economy and environment, according to the FWC.

Ryan Izquierdo, a content creator, gathered cold-stunned iguanas and provided them to the restaurant for use in the pizza.

The resulting “Everglades Pie” also includes venison, bacon, cheese, and olive oil as toppings.

This culinary creation has drawn attention for its unusual toppings and approach to managing invasive species.
