Clear Facts

  • Martha Stewart canceled her Thanksgiving dinner after nine guests dropped out due to illness.
  • Stewart had already cooked 14 turkeys for her TV show and was scheduled to make another for NBC’s “TODAY” show.
  • Instead of hosting, she will visit five different homes to taste various courses at friends’ Thanksgiving feasts.

Martha Stewart revealed that she has canceled her Thanksgiving dinner this year during an appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” on Thursday. The decision came after nine of her guests canceled their attendance because someone fell ill. “Oh, I gave up Thanksgiving. I canceled,” she told Kelly Clarkson.

Stewart explained her decision further, saying, “So I decided, I called up my chef friend, and I said, ‘We’re not doing Thanksgiving.'” This came after she had already cooked 14 turkeys for her TV show and was still due to make one more for NBC’s “TODAY” show. “I am turkeyed out,” she admitted.

Instead of hosting her own Thanksgiving dinner, Martha Stewart will be visiting “about five different homes to taste different courses” after friends invited her to their Thanksgiving feasts. Kelly Clarkson commented on the situation, saying, “Oh, my God, those friends must be so stressed-out.”

Clear Thoughts

Martha Stewart’s Thanksgiving cancellation highlights the fragility of holiday plans amid a health crisis. As nine guests dropped out, Stewart’s turkey-filled festivities were replaced by a culinary tour of friends’ homes.

While her decision to cancel may signal a greater concern for health and safety, it also underscores the need for flexibility and adaptability in these uncertain times. Stewart’s choice to visit multiple households, however, raises questions about the wisdom of such actions during an ongoing pandemic.

The situation serves as a reminder that even the most well-laid plans can be disrupted, and we must navigate these challenges with caution and care.

This is one of the reasons why we moved away from Pennsylvania after 64 years living there. Foolish liberal leftist that are ruining Pennsylvania turning it into another New York and California swamp. We moved to Tennessee and didn’t even realize what we put up with in Pennsylvania all those years until we moved away to a land of GODLY people, and freedom.

Honestly, I don’t know why I wasted my time with this article. From the headline description, I thought Martha Stewart had “cancelled” Thanksgiving for some stupid political reason. Then I thought maybe she cancelled Thanksgiving because this was still 2021 when the COVID virus had everyone completely freaked out.
Good grief, all the drama! If you’re sick, stay home! If you have extra food, share it with those less fortunate! It’s really not that complicated, and it certainly doesn’t require wasting everyone’s time agonizing over it. Sheesh.
