New GOP Bill Aims to Fix Biden’s ‘Failed’ Abortion Ban Enforcement

Clear Facts

  • Republican Representatives Keith Self and Andy Biggs have introduced legislation to reinforce the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003.
  • The new bill mandates the attorney general to investigate violations and requires the DOJ to report annually on these violations.
  • The legislation responds to the discovery of aborted babies in Washington, D.C., with at least one suspected case of partial birth abortion.

In a bold move to address what they perceive as a lack of enforcement under President Biden’s administration, Republican Representatives Keith Self of Texas and Andy Biggs of Arizona have introduced a new piece of legislation aimed at strengthening the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003. This legislation, known as the Ensuring Justice for Victims of Partial-Birth Abortion Act, seeks to ensure that violations of the ban do not go unchecked.

The bill comes in the wake of a disturbing incident where several aborted babies, referred to as the “DC Five,” were found discarded outside a Washington, D.C. abortion clinic. At least one of these cases is believed to have involved a partial birth abortion, a practice that the 2003 Act aimed to eliminate.

“The DC-Five were innocent babies weeks from birth before their lives were brutally and barbarically snuffed out,” Representative Self stated. He emphasized the need for action, expressing hope that this bill, alongside President Trump’s pro-life agenda, will reinforce the rule of law regarding the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act.

Partial birth abortions are described in the original legislation as a procedure where a physician intentionally delivers a living unborn child partially before performing an act to end the infant’s life. This act is usually the puncturing of the skull and removal of the brain, followed by the completion of the delivery.

The proposed legislation directly addresses what many see as the failures of Biden’s Department of Justice to properly investigate such violations. Marilyn Musgrave, vice president of Government Affairs for Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, criticized the current administration, saying, “Yet Biden’s Department of Justice failed to investigate a suspected case of partial birth abortion right in the nation’s capital.”

Musgrave praised the new bill, stating, “The Ensuring Justice for Victims of Partial-Birth Abortion Act aims to fix this by demanding enforcement and investigation so that babies harmed by this brutal procedure get the justice they deserve.”

Critics of President Biden have accused him of using government power against pro-life advocates, notably through the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, which has been used to prosecute activists protesting outside abortion clinics. In contrast, President Trump, shortly after assuming office, pardoned several pro-life activists who had been targeted under the Biden administration.

This legislation represents a significant step by Republican lawmakers to ensure that the laws against partial birth abortion are not only on the books but actively enforced, reflecting a broader commitment to protecting the unborn and holding violators accountable.

‘abortion is murder and any doctor who performs and abortion-especially where a child is born and then killed should be charged with murder and sent to the electric chair. If a woman does not want a child don’t engage in sex or use protection. Good grief it doesn’t take a PHD to figure it out. Murder is murder

The “doctors? and nurses?” that perform these procedures, are seriously mentally ill and should have a full frontal lobotomy performed on them, then thrown naked into a hole to live out the rest of their miserable, rotten lives wallowing in their filth and squalor. Throw them a handfull or two of some of bidens brains, otherwise known as moldy oatmeal, each day and let nature take it’s course.

The problem is, unborn fetuses are nothing more than random collections of cells, much like a cancer or a parasite, according to law. This is because our medical and science communities refuse to step up and declare, based entirely on science, just when the human life begins. I would love to hear a pro-abortion doctor explain the details of the birth canal, since it can turn a random collection of cells into a living, fully functional human being within a couple of minutes. So far, I have found no doctor nor scientist able to offer this information.
