Authorities say an alleged ransom letter demanding cryptocurrency for Nancy Guthrie’s return set specific deadlines, yet those deadlines have come and gone without resolution.

Investigators report the only contact with the alleged captors is through the original note, which suggests no other communication channels are available.

Harvey Levin stated, “The Monday deadline is far more consequential.”

He added there are clues in the alleged letter, including, “Nancy is OK but scared.”

Levin, discussing the note’s content, said, “You will have no way of contacting me. This is the only contact.”

Law enforcement received possible ransom letters and are reviewing them closely as they coordinate efforts with federal officers.

Sheriff Chris Nanos assured, “We are taking all tips and leads very seriously. Anything that comes in, goes to our detectives who are coordinating with the FBI.”

Nancy Guthrie’s last known location was on January 31, and she is reportedly missing essential medication.

Officials are continuing their efforts and have planned media updates as the investigation progresses.
