Schiff disputes rumored tension over Cheney’s focus on Trump [Video]

Tensions have been rising among staffers of the House’s Jan. 6 committee and panel vice chair Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), the Washington Post reported last week. But Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) disputed the rumors on Sunday at CNN’s “State of the Union.”
The report from the Post cited interviews with 15 former and current committee staffers, who remained anonymous.
Staffers were reportedly frustrated over Cheney’s focus on former President Donald Trump for the panel’s final report. They felt that several other key elements of their investigation, such as the security and intelligence failures leading up to the Capitol attack, would be left out.
When CNN‘s Dana Bash asked Schiff to verify the report, the California Democrat responded, “No, I mean at least I certainly hope not.”
Schiff continued, “I would like to see a report be as broad and inclusive as possible. We are discussing as a committee among the members, what belongs in the body of the report, what belongs in the appendices of the report, what is beyond the scope of our investigation. And we’ll reach those decisions in a collaborative manner.”
According to the Post‘s report, committee staff think Cheney is setting the stage for her political future, possibly a presidential run. Schiff responded that he “never viewed it that way,” adding that he considers Cheney’s committee role as “indispensable.”
Having conducted a series of public hearings, the committee is expected to wrap up and release its report in the coming weeks, prior to the GOP taking control of the House. Schiff said that the panel will be releasing transcripts of interviews as well as documents it investigated.
Schiff said that they’re “very close” to getting “a consensus on the report.” He expressed his hope that they can convey “a very comprehensive way what took place, what led to that attack, and all the circumstances around that.”

Adam Schiff is this generation’s Sen. Joe McCarthy, a one-trick pony whose fame rests solely upon his hatred of all-things Donald Trump. Although he has many career-rending trials to come, his cautionary place in American history is secure. Fortunately for the American people, in his specious world, the last person holding the microphone gets the last word.

Between Adam Schiff and Liz Cheney’s facts, if anyone thinks that all possibilities have been aired in this and are not one-sided, I hope they are never a judging fact in my point of view.

Setting up President Trump is not going to make MAGA voters disappear. This will in fact solidify the republican party, not on a MAGA line, but straight through the whole conservative and republican spectrum. Everyone will know that this is completely partisan, bias and politically motivated hate for President Trump. Democrats have gone too far, and the American people are now starting to wake up and pushing back on all of these witch hunts.
