In a historic move, President-elect Trump has appointed Susie Wiles as the first female White House chief of staff. This decision marks a significant milestone in U.S. history and underscores Wiles’ pivotal role in Trump’s campaign.
Wiles, a seasoned GOP operative, has been instrumental in orchestrating what has been described as Trump’s most disciplined and well-executed campaign to date. Her ability to stay out of the limelight while effectively managing campaign operations has earned her widespread acclaim.
During his victory celebration in West Palm Beach, Florida, Trump expressed his gratitude for Wiles’ contributions, stating,
“Let me also express my tremendous appreciation for Susie [Wiles] and Chris [LaCivita], on the job you did. Susie, come, Susie.”
He further added,
“Susie likes to stay sort of in the back, let me tell you. The ice baby. We call her the ice baby. Susie likes to stay in the background. She’s not in the background.”
Trump praised Wiles as “tough, smart, innovative” and emphasized that she is “universally admired and respected.” He confidently stated,
“I have no doubt that she will make our country proud.”
John Brabender, a veteran GOP strategist, echoed these sentiments, noting that there is no better choice than Wiles for the role. Brabender highlighted her exceptional relationship with Trump, saying,
“Nobody’s going to have a better relationship with the president, who understands that she is there to help him however she can, and he will respect that.”
Wiles’ extensive political career includes serving as a campaign scheduler for former President Reagan in 1980 and managing Rick Scott’s 2010 Florida gubernatorial campaign. She also briefly led former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman’s 2012 presidential campaign.
Currently, Wiles serves as a senior adviser to Trump and co-chairs his campaign alongside Chris LaCivita. Her appointment as chief of staff is expected to bring a wealth of experience and strategic insight to the White House.
While former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy had been considered a potential candidate for the position, he recently confirmed that he would not accept the role, stating,
“People always ask if I’m going to be chief of staff — no, I’m not going to be… that’s a no.”

Thank God the President did not pick the RINO Kevin McCarthy, that would’ve proven that he had learned absolutely nothing from many of his previous appointments for important positions. I think McCarthy just made up that he was even being considered.
