‘You Gone, B*tch!’: Massive Brawl After Resident Confronts Mayor

Clear Facts
- A brawl erupted at a Thornton Township board meeting after a resident criticized Democratic Mayor Tiffany Henyard.
- Mayor Henyard and her boyfriend, Kamal Woods, were involved in the altercation, which disrupted the meeting.
- A report requested by former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot highlighted financial mismanagement in Dolton and Thornton Township.
A recent board of trustees meeting in Thornton Township, Illinois, took a chaotic turn when a resident’s confrontation with Democratic Mayor Tiffany Henyard led to an all-out brawl. The meeting, which was supposed to address the recent shutdown of services, quickly descended into disorder following accusations of mismanagement.
The incident began when local activist Jedidiah Brown called for the suspension of two of Henyard’s associates. Brown did not hold back, accusing Henyard of “sleeping her way to the top” and labeling her a “half-assed mayor.”
“You gone, bitch,” Brown declared, igniting tensions within the room.
The situation escalated when Henyard’s boyfriend, Kamal Woods, charged at Brown, setting off a physical altercation that involved Henyard herself. During the melee, Henyard reportedly lost a shoe, further adding to the spectacle.
Following the fight, the board voted to place Woods and another Henyard ally, William Moore, on paid leave. This decision came on the heels of a report initiated by former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, which uncovered over $770,000 in questionable spending in Dolton’s financial records.
“No, and this is political retaliation, so again, thank you for the lawsuit,” Henyard responded defiantly after the vote, criticizing the board for targeting specific individuals without thorough research.
Lightfoot’s report accused Henyard’s administration of systematically concealing Dolton’s true financial state from both trustees and the public. Henyard had previously faced criticism for extravagant expenditures, including trips to major cities, during her tenure as mayor.
In defense of Henyard, her attorney, Beau Brindley, dismissed Lightfoot’s findings, stating, “Lori Lightfoot is a failed mayor whose fiscal irresponsibility was overwhelming.” He further argued that Lightfoot’s attempt to critique another mayor’s financial decisions was “preposterous.”
As the dust settles from the tumultuous meeting, the community remains divided over the leadership and financial practices within Thornton Township and Dolton.

I agree Lightfoot was a terrible and most likely corrupt and criminal Mayor when she was in office. However, they knew this when she was hired for this job. Now they want to disregard her findings based on her past ethics, policies and actions. Another case of you get what you pay for and whose to say Lori Lightfoot didn’t get it right? After all she wasn’t investigating herself and .ost likely knew where to look.

It takes a corrupt failed mayor to spot another one who’s actions are clear evidence in itself that Henyard and her boyfriend’s dealings are unethical at best. The fact that Kamal Woods went off the deep end and unleashed his fury towards Brown shows their guilt. Nobody who’s innocent should act that way. They may sound off against threats of being ousted, etc., but to act as they did speaks volumes. It’s usually the guilty who shouts the loudest in order to squelch those who are exposing their misdeeds. Henyard is so full of herself that she believes she deserves to exploit funds that benefit her & Woods who think they are somehow above the law and exempt from it. They both need to go to prison.
