Mary Trump thinks Jared Kushner could be ‘Mar-a-Lago mole’ [Video]
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- The FBI last week conducted a search warrant at former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home and recovered 11 boxes of classified documents.
- According to reports from The Wall Street Journal and Newsweek, an informant led the FBI about the materials and where to look.
- Mary Trump, the former president’s niece, said she thinks Jared Kushner or someone in his position may have been the informant.
Mary Trump said she thinks the person who may have given the FBI information about documents held at Mar-a-Lago by her uncle, former President Donald Trump, could be Jared Kushner.
She made the comments during a radio interview on Friday with The Dean Obeidallah Show. The host asked her who she thinks could be the “Mar-a-Lago mole” after reports said the FBI was tipped off by an informant close to the former president.
“We need to start with who would have access to this stuff. I don’t think Mark Meadows would have access to it,” Mary Trump began, dismissing the former chief of staff.
“I think we need to look very hard at why Jared got $2 billion,” she said, referring to an investment into Kushner’s private equity firm by a fund led by Mohammed bin Salman, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia. “We need to look very hard at why he has been so quiet for so many months now.”
“And we need to think about who could also be implicated in this that would need as big a play as turning Donald in in order to get out of trouble, or at least to mitigate the trouble they’re in,” she continued. “It sounds like somebody in Jared’s position. I’m not saying it’s Jared, but it could be.”
Mary Trump, who has been a consistent and vocal critic of her uncle, wasn’t the first person to point the finger at Kushner.
Michael Cohen, Trump’s former attorney and fixer, on Thursday he too thought Kushner could be the FBI informant.
“It’s definitely a member of his inner circle,” Cohen, who has also become a vocal Trump critic, said. He added that he would not be surprised to find out it is Jared or one of his children. “Who else would know about the existence of a safe and the specific contents kept inside?”
The FBI on Monday conducted the unprecedented raid on Mar-a-Lago. Court documents unsealed Friday showed the search was part of an investigation into potential violations of three laws related to handling government documents, including part of the Espionage Act. The documents also showed FBI agents recovered 11 boxes of classified materials.
Speculation about an informant followed reports earlier this week in The Wall Street Journal and Newsweek, which both cited unnamed sources.
Kushner, who is married to Ivanka Trump, served as a senior adviser to his father-in-law. He and his wife, who also served as a senior adviser to her father, have largely remained out of the public eye since departing the White House last year.

I think the informant was the Secret Service guy who ordered the installation of a new lock on the door. Others not likely to be interested in the basement.

Both my brother-in-laws were FBI agents. You couldn’t meet smarter and more honest men who loved their country with every inch of their being. Trump wants to put agent’s lives in jeopardy by opening up the Mara-Lago affidavit, revealing data that would deeply harm our national security. IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?!? This was one of the things I was against the Trump team, to many close relatives in his white house. These were all Democrats until Trump decided to run for President. I thought his Son-In-Law was at best shifty, he should not have been able to get the security clearance for secret documents, he was in trouble and a risk to our country, when he first jumped aboard the Trump Train. He was in severe money problems about to go Bankrupt, not a good choice to be advising the president. I always thought family was a back door to information, that was leaked. To many facts hitting the media from out of nowhere, I didn’t trust his family ties. I do think that president Trump was a good man just not a politician, the country needed both and only got half of what they signed up for. He didn’t protect his people, that was mistake number one. He made enemies on both sides of the aisle. All of the things he said he was going to do, never happened, Obama Care and the investigation of Hillary Clinton never happened. Two big promises he made on the campaign trail. He did try to start bringing business back from overseas, found out it was to expensive for him and other business associates.

I have watched politics in our nation since JFK, and I have tried to pay attention to the major issues of the times. I believe that the Johnson administration destroyed the black families(before his policies were implemented, nearly 80 percent of black families were 2-parent families) and now
single families predominate. The Nixon administration was removed from office giving us President Carter and his misguided 4 years, with its very high inflation. President Reagan’s administration was able to reverse the inflation, and lower gasoline to under one dollar a gallon. His second term was not nearly as successful but he was able to bring the Soviet Union to its knees. President Bush benefited from the previous administration’s successful foreign policy and oversaw the collapse of the Soviet Union. The first term of the Clinton administration was without major incident but the 2nd term saw the overhaul of the welfare system thanks in part to Newt Gingrich. GW Bush’s first term was marred by the bombings of the twin towers, and the Pentagon, President Bush was a very good leader for the time. President Obama’s first term was devastated by the banking debacle, his second term was spoiled by many black riots caused by police shootings. President Trump’s 4 years were problematic from before he took office. He was accused of nearly everything his political enemies could dream up. In spite of all the accusations, he had a relatively successful term in office. The nation was energy independent for the first time in 75 years, and successfully built an economy that employed more women, blacks, and Mexicans than at any time in the history of our nation, reduced taxes on all Americans, and reduced the regulatory burden on our businesses. He entered into successful negotiations with North Korea and imposed tariffs on China. He turned loose the incredible power of our manufacturers and developed a vaccine for COVID 19 in less than a year. We are only 2 years into the Biden administration and all is not well, the things he has tried don’t seem to have worked but they have 2 more years to turn it around. I pray for President Biden and our nation. God bless our President

That is well and good to have your safe spaces. For one of the few men that posted here, I will add another as I too am incensed at the overall happenings at Mar-a-Logo. It is inconceivable that a duly elected President cannot have the anonymity in which to conduct his post-Oval office affairs. And true, Jared Kushner does fit that profile of someone capable of doing such an atrocious act. It was my reaction upon first seeing him and how he acted on several occasions, did place him in that suspicious folder. He did not fit what I would call…”an undieing loyal partner to trust.” The trust factor was just not there for me. However, it’s that innocent thing until proven guilty that rules. This matter is a “inter-family” affair and I feel we should leave it be in that particular mode. I feel that Donald Trump has way more fortitude in plying the much needed “conflict resolution skills” as is one of the foremost skills needed to run a construction empire as he did. He can and will handle it in his “go for the juggler” style. We can perhaps from a distance speculate, but that is all we are suppose to do. As far as Mary is concerned….I feel she is a gold digger, and a disinformation generator, that has maneuvered herself to be the prime beneficiary if her disinformation. My having gone thru several narcissist in my life, I am very familiar with this phrase that….”it’s all about her.” God in the end, will judge her for what she aspired to be and wanted to be.
