WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • Former President Donald Trump has asked his supporters to fund a new private jet for him.
  • Trump’s plane was forced to make an emergency landing on Saturday in New Orleans.
  • A mass email sent by Trump’s Save America PAC read, “My team is building a BRAND NEW Trump Force One.”

Former President Donald Trump is asking his supporters to help fund his new “Trump Force One” private jet after a plane flying him to Mar-a-Lago was forced to make an emergency landing. Reports say one of its engines malfunctioned.

Trump sent a mass email to his supporters titled “Update Trump Force One”  through his Save America PAC. He told his supporters that “my team is building a BRAND NEW Trump Force One.”

Trump also said that the construction of this plane has been under wraps and added “I can’t wait to unveil it for everyone to see.”

The former president said he needed “a very important update on his plane.” He asked potential donors if they remember how he used to fly across the country in his own “Trump Force One” before he became “the greatest President of all time.”

There’s a GIF of a plane taking off in the emails and a poll giving donors options to click “yes” or “no” if they wanted to see his new plane.

The poll will then link the user to a donation page that asks supporters to “Contribute ANY AMOUNT IMMEDIATELY to send your response to President Trump!”

On Saturday, the pilot of Trump’s private jet decided to turn around and made an emergency landing after an engine failed. Trump was flying back to his Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, Fla., from the Four Seasons Hotel in New Orleans.

The plane, a Dassault Falcon 900, was given to Trump by a donor for the evening to travel back from the Republican National Committee retreat in New Orleans to his home in Florida.

Trump used his personal Boeing 757 during his 2016 presidential campaign. It was reported last year that the full-size passenger airliner was parked at an Orange County, N.Y., airport unable to be flown.

The Boeing 757 which has Trump’s name written across the side, has fallen into disrepair. CNN reported that one engine of its engines shrink-wrapped and the other is missing parts.

Since Trump states that he is really wealthy, not wealthy as he claims to be, maybe to the tune of $73 million in the bank, assets on paper doesn’t mean much, not as much as cash in the bank, I see no reason why Trump can’t fund his own jet, or at least fix his old one.

it is the way he has always operated !!! He uses other peoples money to fund his property or businesses then ties up the payments in court for years until they either go bankrupt or settle for much less than they are honestly owed. The only real thing about him that is the fact that he is a con man !!!
