WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • In a recorded speech posted on Facebook and Twitter, Trump once again claimed that the 2020 election was deceitful and rigged.
  • Trump also swore to protect the country’s electoral system that he believes to be under assault.
  • The president hasn’t conceded to Biden yet, despite the baseless claims and most states have certified the victory of the former V.P.

Once more, President Trump is claiming that the presidential election last month was fixed and fraudulent.

In his speech published on his Twitter and Facebook pages, the president said that his speech could be the most important address he ever did, charging that many unwanted things have occurred during the polls.

Trump also reasoned that if they are correct about the election scheme, Joe Biden should not sit as a president. He added that what’s involved are massive numbers by hundreds of thousands of votes.

Emphasizing the rush in absentee and early voting caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the president said the exercise was used to be one day only, but it turned into days, weeks, and even months.

Trump further claimed the mail-in-ballot and polling scam is the most recent move by the opposition to discredit the 2016 election, an effort of four years in the making.

The president then promised to defend America’s election system that he believed to be under attack on an organized determination.

Along with other earlier Trump’s tweets about election fraud, Twitter tagged the public address as an issue being disputed. Facebook, meanwhile, added that the projected victor of the recent U.S Presidential election is Joe Biden.

The president’s speech, shot in the White House’s Diplomatic Room, happened a day later when Attorney General William Barr told the

Associated Press that after responding to the inquiries made by the F.B.I and Justice Department, that they never discovered a massive fraud on a level that could have resulted in a different election result.

More  Republican party members had disagreed with Trump over his election fraud claims.

Almost a month following the projections of Associated Press, Fox News, and other news outlets that Biden will get sufficient electoral votes to win, Trump has never conceded to the former vice-president.

The legal team of Trump file numerous lawsuits in several crucial battleground states in an attempt to defer the election certification, but their strategies haven’t worked yet. All the request for recounts by the

Trump camp in Wisconsin and Georgia, two out of six battleground states where Biden led by a small margin against Trump and which he has challenged, was never successful in overturning the president-elect’s victories.

During his interview on Sunday with Maria Bartiromo on FOX Business’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” his first since the polls, Trump again charged the election was rigged and fraudulent, saying that there are glitches and thousands of votes were transferred from him to Biden.

Trump, though, also gives the impression that is his legal challenges to reverse the election results, will most likely not reach the U.S. Supreme Court, which is contrary to his legal team’s goal.
