Navy Vets Condemn Drag Queen Recruiting Campaign

Ten House Republicans and Navy veterans, led by Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-GA), are demanding answers from Navy Secretary Carlos Del Toro regarding the Navy’s choice of a drag queen influencer on the Chinese app TikTok as one of its “Digital Ambassadors” for recruitment.
The group sent a letter to Del Toro expressing their concerns, particularly about the Navy recruiting an active-duty sailor who identifies as “nonbinary” and frequently posts videos on social media transitioning from his Navy uniform to his drag persona, “Harpy Daniels”. The lawmakers argue that such practices discourage potential recruits and undermine the Navy’s readiness.
Rep. Andrew Clyde commented, “Our servicemembers should be solely focused on maintaining the most deadly military force in the world, not dressing up in drag.”
The lawmakers also criticized the Biden administration for implementing “woke policies” across the U.S. military, including allowing transgender soldiers to use barracks, bathrooms, and showers of their “gender identity”. They questioned the administration’s definition of “qualified” individuals while endorsing a vaccine mandate that they claim risked the discharge of 75,000 troops.
The legislators have demanded that Del Toro provide information on recruitment and the Navy’s selection of Kelley as an ambassador by June 6. They asked for data related to the Navy’s fiscal year 2023 recruiting goals, the Navy Digital Ambassador Program, and Kelley’s selection, as well as the impact of Biden’s transgender policy on recruitment. They are also seeking information on the operational readiness of the Navy in light of a potential challenge from China over Taiwan.

Once again the brass at the top deliver blows to the rank and file in the Naval Service. After serving 25 years in the Naval service of this Greay Country I am TOTALLY disgusted with the the so called leadership in the Pentagon and Congress.

I agree totally,as well as I believe Del Toro should be removed from the military and go back where he came from. Can’t guess where that is with that name. My Navy, 65 – 71 would never have accepted this kind of garbage. We where for America and it’s freedoms not queers in drag.CHARLES EVERING i am also disqusted with the leadership in the Pentagon and Congress. I was in the Navy from 67 to 69 and gays were not allowed in the Navy. If you were caught you
would be kicked out of service.

My grandfather and father fought in WWII and Korean war protecting this country and its people! I am sick to think they did this so their memories and awards are spit on by this garbage.
To the navy, boys you better pull your heads out of your a—s and start taking a look at what the other countries, especially our enemies are traing their soldiers, and I can guarantee it is to kill, fight, weapons, and strategy NOT what some “F”ing pansy boy wants to put on to look like a girl. Either he mans up and you get your acts together or we can expect the enemy will find ways to destroy this country and it will be off this stupidity and they could easily snap this idiots neck! I got news for you most of the rank-and-file military find this whole situation disgusting.
But you have to contend with the politicians pretending to be officers yanking the floor out from under the competent military members trying their best to do essentially damage control.
So trying to be ready for when or enemies quit laughing and attack we might be ready. Notice I did say if. The biggest problem is the mis installed malfunction meat puppet that is currently the commander n chief. You might as well call him Benidict Arnold.

If Secretary Del Toro was serious about this gender farce, he would be sitting in his office right now wearing a dress and a lot of makeup. Otherwise, the entire matter is strictly a political move to push the woke agenda down our throats. What a embarrassment to our Country, our People and our Flag to all other nations around the World.

While I have always been proud of my Navy service I’m now having second thoughts about whether I would ever recommend it to anyone. I cannot imagine telling someone they should consider joining a Navy that has such incompetent leadership.

Civil unrest; NATO and UN troops come into the country to “keep the peace”. Who are the troops involved? Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea, those that have put NATO sanctions on the U.S.

Reminds me of Dec 7 1941 when all our Battle ships were in Pearl Harbor when we were expecting an attack from Japan. How do I know this? My Father was stationed there.
