  • Arizona State University has received a second federal complaint alleging secret continuation of DEI initiatives.
  • Associate Dean Chandra Crudup admitted on hidden camera that DEI teachings persist at ASU under changed language.
  • Federal complaints were filed with multiple agencies, citing orchestrated actions by university officials.

Arizona State University is under renewed scrutiny after evidence surfaced suggesting the institution continues to push diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs despite federal directives.

This comes after an associate dean was recorded stating that the university simply reworded its practices but kept DEI efforts alive.

“New information reveals the situation at ASU is even worse than previously known,” the Protect the Public’s Trust complaint stated.

PPT already filed a previous complaint in January when another official made similar claims about hiding DEI activities.

Associate Dean Chandra Crudup told undercover investigators there was a deliberate move to alter language to avoid becoming a target, while continuing the same DEI agenda.

“It’s all still happening,” Crudup said.

The university reportedly operates an “inclusion network” across departments, providing resources to faculty for embedding DEI content into their programs.

ASU’s associate director of the criminology department also admitted to hiding DEI from public view but maintaining it within the curriculum.

ASU did not respond to questions regarding these activities.

“It appears that the thing ASU claimed wasn’t happening may be happening after all,” said Michael Chamberlain, PPT director.

“Another employee confirms that the university is continuing to employ discriminatory DEI policies but trying to keep them under wraps so that students, parents, and the public aren’t aware. It’s evident that schools and universities are determined to keep them in place, regardless of what the American public wants, or even federal mandates or state laws.”

Multiple federal agencies have been contacted, but none have commented.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order banning DEI in federally funded institutions on January 20, 2025, but ASU reportedly has no explicit prohibition on these practices.

The complaint insists there is substantial evidence showing DEI initiatives remain ongoing at ASU, simply under new terminology.
