Biden signs marriage equality bill in star-studded event featuring Cyndi Lauper [Video]

Thousands of supporters celebrated as President Joe Biden signed a same-sex marriage protection bill into law on Tuesday. The star-studded event, held on the White House lawn, featured performances from pop icon Cyndi Lauper and British singer Sam Smith.
The Respect for Marriage Act was created as a safeguard if the Supreme Court decides to overturn the 2015 ruling recognizing same-sex marriage nationwide. The new law provides federal recognition of same-sex marriages. It will not, however, stop states from prohibiting same-sex or interracial marriages if allowed by the Supreme Court.
Biden addressed the crowd, “Marriage is a simple proposition. Who do you love? And will you be loyal to that person you love? It’s not more complicated than that. The law recognizes that everyone should have the right to answer those questions for themselves. Today’s a good day.”
Lauper appeared in a White House press briefing to thank the Biden administration for advancing this bill. The 69-year-old icon said that the new law brings peace of find to families like hers and thousands of Americans nationwide.
Lauper, who has been married to actor David Thornton since 1991, has been a staunch supporter of the LGBTQ community.
She stated, “We can rest easy tonight because our families are validated and because now we’re allowed to love who we love, which sounds odd to say, but Americans can now love who we love.”
Before singing “True Colors,” Lauper told the crowd, “This time, love wins.”
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi applauded the signing, saying, “Everyone deserves to bask in the magical blessing of building a union with the person you love.”
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer also called it “a day of jubilation.” He said that his daughter, Alison, and her wife, Elizabeth Weiland, are expecting a child in February.

This insane legislation was a huge slap to God’s face. Pres. Biden is as close to being the anti-Christ as possible. In his ignorance and rebellion against God’s teachings and commandments he just proved that by over-ruling God’s teaching on this sick issue, he has doomed his soul forever no, I am not judging. I’m merely repeating what the Bible says on this subject. All those who disagree with God against this perverted sin, will be judged in the most severe way possible and sadly, the Bible does teach that most of the world will be lost at the end of time anyway. Chuck Schumer says, “The signing of this horrible legislation has been a good day.” He’s as wrong as anyone could be. When one goes against God who calls homosexuality and abomination, it won’t be a good day for them, it will be a spiritual nightmare for them when time is no more.

Biden as well as many others prove over & over, they are strictly counterfeit Christians. I doubt if they know anything about God’s word. If they have a question about spiritual matters, they usually go to a priest who tells them what they want to hear. Schumer says, “This is a day of jubilation.” Really? How blind can one be, I strongly doubt if God would agree with him especially when He says in scripture. “Homosexuality is an abomination.” He said it, I believe it and that settles it. I rest my case.

It’s interesting that Pelosi is an avid supporter. But isn’t she a devoted Roman Catholic? So, she is two for two against the
laws of her faith. 1- Abortion 2- Gay Marriage. Like all good Democrats, she is a Liar and BIG Hypocrite.
