In a recent podcast, Chuck Todd, former chief political analyst for NBC News, expressed his unwavering belief that President Joe Biden’s inner circle orchestrated an early debate against Donald Trump to ensure Biden’s downfall.
Todd shared his thoughts, asserting that the June 27, 2024, debate was intentionally scheduled to highlight Biden’s declining capabilities and pave the way for a new nominee.
The debate, hosted by CNN, was historically early for a general election and proved to be a significant setback for Biden. During the event, Biden appeared visibly confused, struggled with his words, and even froze at times.
Todd speculated, “I will go to my grave believing that the debate was intentional … [Biden Senior Adviser] Anita Dunn and [Biden Campaign Chair] Jen O’Malley Dillon will deny it till they’re blue in the face.”
He further questioned the timing, “This idea, ‘Well, we needed to shake up the race.’ In late June? Who shakes up a race in late June?”
Despite Todd’s assertions, Biden’s team maintains that the debate’s purpose was to focus attention on Trump’s rhetoric and policies.
Anita Dunn denied any intention of sabotage, stating that they wanted Trump to face more “scrutiny.”
Jen O’Malley Dillon supported Biden’s continued candidacy, saying, “Absolutely the president’s in this race … We know that we’ve slipped a bit from the debate.”
However, Biden withdrew from the race shortly after, endorsing Kamala Harris, who eventually lost to Trump in the election.
Todd’s perspective, although controversial, raises questions about the strategic decisions made by Biden’s team during the campaign.

How can you believe anything a Demoncrat or the media says.
Anybody with eyes could see that Joe Biden was not ALL there the last few years. The media turned a blind eye to all of Joe Biden and his family’s corruption and also to his violation of his oath of office to uphold the constitution and the rule of law.

The Dumocrats are such cheaters and liars it is hard to believe anything any one of the says. They are money hungry power hungry and stupidity hungry. No one except a loosing dumocrat believes them. Bernie, AOC and Davey Crockett’s sister are all such liars. I turn the channel on the TV while one of those idiots start speaking, because they don’t know crap from apple butter!!
