Federal Aid Approved for Los Angeles Riot Damage

Clear Facts
- The Trump administration has approved disaster aid for approximately $1 billion in damage from riots in Los Angeles.
- The Small Business Administration (SBA) will offer loans of up to $2 million to businesses affected by the riots.
- California Governor Gavin Newsom has been criticized for his handling of the riots and for delaying the request for federal disaster relief.
In a significant move, the Trump administration has sanctioned disaster aid to address the substantial damage caused by riots in Los Angeles, which erupted in June under the oversight of Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom. These riots, which began on June 6, have resulted in an estimated $1 billion in damages, prompting a response from the federal government.
The Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced that it will provide loans of up to $2 million to businesses affected by the chaos. This financial aid comes after Governor Newsom faced criticism for his delayed request for federal disaster relief.
Governor Newsom, however, has consistently pointed fingers at President Donald Trump, accusing him of exacerbating the situation in Los Angeles. A spokesperson for Newsom stated, “Trump deliberately sowed chaos in Los Angeles — creating fear and disorder for political gain, so he can justify deploying troops and flex his power.”
The governor’s office further argued that the federal funding was overdue, blaming the president for the destruction. “Finally, the federal government is doing the right thing to pay for the damages several small businesses have suffered from the Trump-imposed chaos campaign in Los Angeles,” the spokesperson added.
In addition to providing financial aid, the Trump administration is also investigating the funding behind the riots to explore potential criminal prosecutions. Despite the approval of disaster relief, there is an insistence that Governor Newsom must take responsibility for the crisis.

Now this really pisses me off! My tax dollars going to pay for the destruction caused by Gavin Newsom’s idiocy. Newsom’s salary should be used to pay for them. Is that he let happen. The trouble is politicians are not held accountable for the irresponsible actions. The California Democrats need to foot the bill for all that happened in their state.

Wait a minute, it was a “peaceful” demonstration (per Gavin, etal) that was controlled by LAPD. According to Gavin, President Trump “overstepped” so there should not be a billion dollars in damage. The inept leadership in Sacramento, CA should pay for the damages out of their own pockets as the poor handling of issues created by the so called (illegal) sanctuary city of LA or for that matter the same designation for the state.

Newsom should be impeached immediately! What this man has all caused since he’s been in office, and blames on everyone else is ridiculous!

Newsom should be held accountable and Made to step down, never to hold Office again, unless he really is part of the conspiracy against the Citizens of the USA. Where is President Trump when you need him the most.

The innocent shop owners certainly do need some relief – not likely to get it from their insurance coverage but the local and state ‘authorities’ are the ones that should be personally accountable, NOT anyone else and especially not the tax payers from the state or the feds. Oh here’s an idea, make the CRIMINALS who caused all of the damage and looting pay for it. Yes, I know most of them ain’t got the resources but the should be compelled to work off their debt.
