Rudy Giuliani, Lindsey Graham subpoenaed in Trump 2020 election probe

- A special grand jury in Georgia has issued subpoenas to Sen. Lindsey Graham and five members of former President Donald Trump’s legal team, including Rudy Giuliani and John Eastman.
- The district attorney in Fulton County is investigating Trump’s efforts to overturn Georgia’s 2020 election results.
- The subpoenas direct that the witnesses show up in Atlanta on July 12 to testify before a special grand jury.
A Georgia special grand jury investigating former President Donald Trump over his alleged effort to overturn the presidential election results in the state has issued subpoenas to several members of his legal team.
The Fulton County subpoenaed Sen. Lindsey Graham and five members of Trump’s legal team, including his attorney Rudy Giuliani. Others who received subpoenas include John Eastman, Kenneth Chesebro, Cleta Mitchell, and Jenna Ellis. According to court records, these individuals advised Trump on legal strategies to try to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in Georgia.
District Attorney Fani Willis acted on the petition while Fulton County Judge Robert McBurney signed off on the subpoenas, calling each of the individuals a “necessary and material witness” with “unique knowledge” of the conduct under investigation.
Willis, who is conducting the criminal investigation, alleges that there was “a multi-state, coordinated plan by the Trump Campaign to influence the results of the November 2020 election in Georgia and elsewhere.”
She is leading the probe into whether the former president illegally pressured Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find” enough votes to overturn the state’s 2020 electoral college votes. A recount in the state determined President Joe Biden had won by 11,779 votes.
The subpoenas direct that each of the witnesses show up in Atlanta next Tuesday, July 12, to testify before a special grand jury, although, given the short notice, their appearance on that date is considered unlikely.
In Willis’ petition, she wrote Graham made at least two telephone calls to Raffensperger and members of his staff in the weeks after the 2020 presidential election.
According to the court filings revealed on Tuesday, the South Carolina senator asked Raffensperger and his staff about “reexamining certain absentee ballots cast in Georgia in order to explore the possibility of a more favorable outcome” for Trump.
In 2020, Raffensperger told CNN that Graham had asked about throwing away mail-in ballots in some counties.

Its pretty amazing that with all the discrepancies with the 2020 elections especially in GA. 1000s of mail in votes with no chain of custody. Actual film of ballot dumping into drop boxes (2000 Mules) , incorrect ballot counts on tally sheets, no tally sheets, 2 ladies running ballots running ballots through machines multiple times with no observers after hours (on film), reviews claimed to be audits, several recent examples of machines giving false counts in primaries in both democrat and republican primaries, eye witnesses to corrupt procedures. Yet the court is all concerned about people simply telling them about these things and to investigate is somehow a problem.
