In a significant development, former FBI Director James Comey and former CIA Director John Brennan are reportedly facing a criminal investigation related to their handling of the Steele dossier. This dossier was pivotal in the FBI’s 2016 investigation into alleged collusion between Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and Russia.
Sources indicate that the FBI is examining the actions of Comey and Brennan as a potential “conspiracy.” This perspective could lead to a broader range of prosecutorial avenues being explored.
The extent of the investigation remains uncertain, but it is reported that current CIA Director John Ratcliffe has referred evidence of Brennan’s alleged misconduct to FBI Director Kash Patel. This referral is based on declassified findings from a “lessons learned” review of the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA).
The ICA, which asserted that Russia aimed to influence the 2016 election in favor of Trump, was criticized for being hastily compiled and marked by “procedural anomalies.” These anomalies allegedly enabled officials to deviate from standard protocols.
Reports suggest that Brennan’s statements to Congress in 2023 are under scrutiny. A newly declassified email from December 2016, sent by the former deputy CIA director, cautioned Brennan that including the dossier in the ICA could undermine “the credibility of the entire paper.”
Despite this warning, Brennan later testified to the House Judiciary Committee that he opposed the dossier’s inclusion. However, Ratcliffe’s declassified materials suggest Brennan indeed advocated for its inclusion.
James Comey has also been questioned by lawmakers about the FBI’s reliance on the Steele dossier. In 2018, Comey admitted to Congress that the FBI had not verified the dossier before using it to secure a FISA warrant on Trump’s campaign adviser, Carter Page.
Comey further claimed that Republicans initially backed the dossier, emphasizing its political motivations. By 2020, he appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee, expressing ignorance of the dossier’s reliability issues and stating he was not informed about concerns regarding its primary source, Igor Danchenko.
The FBI has declined to comment on the matter, and the CIA has not yet responded to requests for comment.

I agree 1000%. But the list of political figures that are absolute “traitors” is much longer. About 98% of demonRATS in Congress have been openly acting in treasonous ways for decades. The worst of the worst are found in the Biden Judicial Branch under the Biden regime headed by Merrick Garland. He was the most egregious of the actors who was nominated for the SCOTUS by Obama but rejected. You can bet Obama had everything to do with Garland becoming the U.S. A.G. He drove the weaponization of the Intelligence and law enforcement agencies within the DOJ. He allowed dozens of phony indictments by rogue lawyers and prosecutors. He even assisted is the cases from behind the curtains. There are hundreds of bad actors that need to be prosecuted.
