Minnesota Governor Tim Walz recently opened up about a strategic misstep during his 2024 campaign. On a Wednesday podcast, Walz admitted that he spent too much time addressing former President Donald Trump’s controversial remarks about Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio.
During a September debate with former Vice President Kamala Harris, Trump made a sensational claim that these migrants were “eating the dogs … the cats … the pets” of Springfield residents. Walz, speaking on a podcast, reflected on the time he invested in countering Trump’s comments.
“I will kick myself that I got sucked in. I bet you I spent three or four days, maybe longer, not clowning, but just hammering them over the eating dogs and cats because it was so ridiculous,” Walz stated. He acknowledged that this focus was ultimately unproductive, admitting, “And it didn’t do a damn bit of good electorally.”
Walz’s criticism of Trump’s statement began at a rally in Michigan on September 12, where the crowd responded with a chant. Initially, Walz reacted by laughing and clapping, but he soon adopted a more serious tone.
“It would be funnier too if it wasn’t so dangerous,” he remarked, highlighting the potential harm of such rhetoric.
Despite Walz’s efforts, Trump and Vice President JD Vance emerged victorious in the November election, securing 312 electoral votes compared to the Harris-Walz ticket’s 226. They also won the popular vote by over 2 million votes.
A poll from February 9 revealed that nearly 60% of Americans support Trump’s immigration agenda, which includes deporting illegal immigrants.
Walz’s campaign faced additional challenges, including criticism for inaccurate claims about his past and backlash over progressive policies. One such policy was a 2023 law requiring schools to provide tampons in both girls’ and boys’ restrooms, earning Walz the nickname “Tampon Tim” from Trump and others.

Ha, ha, ha !!! Tim Walz’s misstep had nothing to do with what he is saying now. His misstep is “being Tim Walz” a lying, radical liberal supporter of the C.C.P. He was the perfect choice to run with another radical liberal lunatic Kamala Whorris, a very close and best friend of Jennifer Lopez and P-Ditty Combs. Yes, they were a threesome for years.You must know what it took to be in P-Ditty’s inner circle. If not do the research.

Tampon Tim and Que Mala “Kamelface” Harris really didn’t have anything worthwhile on their campaign platform in regards to promises, focus, goals & a direction to move towards, and actual issues that Americans face on a daily basis. They just like to engage in “Feel Good” talks, agendas and programs that really don’t have an impact upon the needs of their constituents. Feeding people is good in and of itself, but it only last as long as the final morsel is swallowed & digested. However it’s better to help people grow food or produce something practical to trade with. Basic practical life applications that Liberals don’t have a clue about. Either they don’t comprehend what most people require in order to function and live, or maybe they don’t care about people overall.
Timmy has proved himself to be a liar and useless politician.
Kamelface has slept her way to where she is at presently, or performed favors to those who could help her.
Both have made decisions that rarely benefited anyone but their own families (political associates & actual family members).
They prove just how ignorant they are regarding what is needed to be done for the good of ALL their constituents and/or ALL of American citizens.
Some people SHOULD NEVER BE IN POLITICS.
We saw how Kamelface handled the southern border, which was basically her only one job at the time, until she was reassigned to do other things, as in… public speaking engagements. Even then, she botched that up by making word salad speeches, one after another, while talking down to American Citizens like we were young children all too often. At most engagements which she attended, whatever she spoke about, there was no practical, rational, or meaningful content to sink one’s teeth into. Most of what she said was beyond comprehension, with her circular “reasoning” that lacked anything resembling reason, and made people shake their heads in bewilderment as if to ask, “What did she say?”
Most Liberals are demonically led by the nose and are blinded to the realities of life.
They don’t have a clue what it takes to run any business or perform a task in a competent & effective fashion, without having a myriad of advisors to give them ideas on how to do something in a sneaky devious fashion. Maybe it’s also due to most of them being lawyers and career politicians rather than actual business folks, or someone who actually worked for a living like most people have to. Either way, they are SO DISCONNECTED with reality and on SO MANY LEVELS.
Liberals are also SO VERY UNLIKE Trump and Conservative Republicans.
He has repeatedly proven himself to be very good at what he does –for the most part. He knows how to make good deals with his opponents or business associates, and knows how to apply focused leverage on them to effectively get the job done, more or less to his satisfaction. Some may call what he does as being manipulative, but I don’t see it as such. There’s always a give & take in any relationship or business interaction. Maybe that’s why Liberals are so dumbfounded by one successful task after another that Republicans are completing & obtaining. It’s ascending one rung after another until they reach the top of the ladder whereupon their goal is ultimately achieved. Most Conservatives/Republicans have rational mindsets. Even if they don’t have actual experience in the job they’re assigned to, they know how to apply transferable skills to whatever they are doing that results in a good outcome.

Walz was bad period, as was that whole Ticket. Harris had no business topping that Ticket, because she was put there by Biden’s puppet masters. And video of Waltz’s wife saying she opened her windows to smell the burning tires during the Floyd Riots, was like Robert Duval in “Apocalypse Now” saying I love the smell of Napalm in the morning! The top figures in Trump’s Populist Movement are all Former Democrats! The Party left the People; Trump himself is a former Democrat .The Democrat Party has gone too far to the Left.
