• During his first acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention in Charlotte NC on Monday, President Donald Trump gave remarks that mainly revolved on his repeated accusations that mail-in voting is prone to fraud and cheating.
• Addressing the American people, Trump said: “Your American Dream will be dead,” if the Democrats will win the election.
• Studies showed that no particular party will have the edge with the implementation of voting by mail.

Upon his arrival in Charlotte, NC to officially kick off the Republication National Convention, President Donald Trump gave an initial address on Monday ━ from making baseless accusations about mail-in voting by prone to fraud, to lambasting the 2020 Democratic presidential primary contest, and so forth.

Referring to the citizens’ plan to undergo mail-in voting for the November election, Trump said: “This is the greatest scam in the history of politics.”

“I just tell it like it is,” he said in a freewheeling speech voicing out claims without evidence, exaggerations and suggestions.

Should there be a Democratic victory, the president said: “Your American Dream will be dead.” He made the statement by embarking on his judicial appointments, the highlight of his presidential tenure.

Trump boasted those appointments alongside his tax reduction policy but did not share much vision for his reelection bid.

Most of his remarks revolved around his unsubstantial allegations that mail-in voting is susceptible to fraud and this would result in Joe Biden winning the election.

“The only way they can take this election away from us is if this is a rigged election. We’re gonna win this election,” Trump said.

The president has repeatedly insisted that Democrats can only win by way of cheating which he associated with systemic mail fraud. Experts already claimed that voting by mail has little (or no) chance of being prone to fraud as history suggests.

“What they’re doing is using COVID to steal an election,” Trump said, as he referred to the coronavirus pandemic that took away the lives of 176,000 Americans. “They’re using COVID to defraud the American people — all of our people — of a fair and free election.”

Trump’s continuous ‘fraud-prone’ mail-in voting narrative has made some people lose confidence in the upcoming election. 

“They’re going to mail out 80 million ballots. It’s impossible, they have no idea. Who’s mailing them? Mostly Democrat states and Democrat governors.” 

However, many GOP governors encouraged their citizens to vote by mail. And ironically, Trump himself will vote by mail, same with his top White House aides.

According to studies, no particular party would have an advantage over the other from voting by mail.

The president continues to trail behind Biden in nationwide polls and in some key swing states. Based on Trump’s satisfactory rating, majority of Americans gave him a thumbs down for his performance.
