Lindsey Graham warns of ‘riots in the streets’ if Trump is prosecuted over classified docs

Sen. Lindsey Graham predicted that there will be riots if former President Donald Trump is prosecuted over his handling of classified documents.
In an appearance on Fox News’ “Sunday Night in America,” the Republican senator made the comment, saying he thinks there’s a “double standard” when it comes to federal law enforcement. Graham cited recent comments made by Mark Zuckerberg about Meta’s handling of a story about Hunter Biden’s laptop after an FBI warning.
“Most Republicans including me, believe when it comes to Trump, there is no law. It’s all about getting him,” Graham said, adding: “And I’ll say this, if there is a prosecution of Donald Trump for mishandling classified information after the Clinton debacle… there will be riots in the streets.”
The South Carolina lawmaker doubled down on the comment a little later in the interview.
“If they tried to prosecute President Trump for mishandling classified information after Hillary Clinton set up a server in her basement there literally will be riots in the street,” he said. “I worry about the country.”
Trump re-posted Graham’s interview on Fox News, highlighting the message on his own social media platform, Truth Social. Trump has continued to rage about the FBI search on Mar-a-Lago and the release of the redacted affidavit on the raid. He called both the Justice Department and the FBI dishonest. He also ranted about how the affidavit was heavily redacted to keep information regarding uncharged persons and the FBI’s sources and methods confidential.
Graham seemed to be referring to Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email, instead of a more secure government email, while serving as secretary of state. She was investigated multiple times, including by the State Department and the FBI.
In July 2016, an FBI investigation found there was “evidence of potential” criminal violations concerning the handling of classified information but that there wasn’t sufficient reason to bring charges. A years-long State Department investigation that ended in 2019 found Clinton’s use of a private email server put classified information at risk but that there was “no persuasive evidence of systemic, deliberate mishandling of classified information.”
Clinton reportedly cooperated with the investigations and turned over her devices and emails. There were no charges brought against her.
On August 8, the FBI searched Mar-a-Lago as part of a Justice Department investigation into potential violations of laws related to the handling of government documents. The DOJ said Trump brought sensitive and classified documents with him to Mar-a-Lago when he left office, according to court records.
Trump has denied any wrongdoing and insisted he had declassified the documents.

heres the thing fraud on 2020 election was proved by fbi and zuckerburg proves it plus ballots , trump signed sheffield act on jan 11th giving military complete control because of elections by sept 3rd trump will be reinstated untill military can set up new elections under new voting within 120 days people will freak espeacially kids that think they get free colledge cash so yes riots but we got this movie officially ends nov5th no new elections on the 8th the raid was a distraction to terminate fbi ,irs federal reserve cdc and the walls come tumbeling down

Graham “thinks” there is a double standard of justice in America? After the last 6 years and irrefutable proof that the FBI interfered with the 2020 presidential election in addition to the FBI raid on President Trump, and Graham’s not sure?

Graham may have nailed it on the head, when he made this statement, especially after the joke of decision not to prosecute Hillary… Double standard is not a fictional statement, but a fact so blatant, that the blind can see it and the deaf can hear its whispers in the air. The Democratic corruption and deep state interference has got to be stopped! You would hope that it could be accomplished at the polls, but as you see the Left is already planning the next steal of an election cycle, so we can’t count on a fair election in 2022 or 2024 and just maybe never again!

If there is a prosecution of Donald Trump by the FBI, I know people that will start taking out any FBI agents they see, there will be no place safe for them. Some have even said that any democrat politician will be on the list also. I told them that they will get caught and spend the rest of their lives in jail, they just say, it will be a head shot and they will never know where the bullet came from. To me, this is a very scary time in the history of this country, when I start hearing normal people, that have never been in trouble with the law start saying things like this.
