US intercepts four Russian warplanes flying near Alaska
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Two US F-16 fighter jets intercepted four Russian warplanes near Alaska on Monday, NORAD said Tuesday.
- NORAD identified the four aircraft as TU-95 BEAR-H bombers and SU-35 fighter jets.
- The US remains on high alert after shooting down three suspicious flying objects last week.
Four Russian aircraft were detected and intercepted near the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone on Monday. The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) called it a “routine” incident.
NORAD said it “detected, tracked, positively identified” the four aircraft, including TU-95 BEAR-H bombers and SU-35 fighter jets. The command dispatched two F-16 fighter jets to intercept the Russian aircraft.
Two F-35A fighters, an E-3 Sentry, and two KC-135 Stratotankers were also dispatched to assist.
In a statement on Tuesday, NORAD said, “Russian aircraft remained in international airspace and did not enter American or Canadian sovereign airspace. This Russian activity in the North American ADIZ occurs regularly and is not seen as a threat, nor is the activity seen as provocative.”
NORAD also said that Russian aircraft have been intercepted in the North American ADIZ six to seven times a year since 2007.
In September, the US detected and tracked two Russian maritime patrol aircraft off the coasts of Alaska and Canada. In August, a Russian surveillance plane entered the Alaska ADIZ.
Monday’s incident comes amid high tensions between Russia and the West over the war in Ukraine. Defense officials said two Dutch F-35s intercepted Russian warplanes in the skies near Polish airspace on Monday.
The Russian aircraft interception on Monday was not linked to three unidentified objects that were shot down by NORAD between Feb. 10 and 12. The first suspicious object was detected over northeastern Alaska on Friday, the second over Canada’s Yukon territory on Saturday, and the third over Lake Huron on Sunday.
The US remains on high alert after the three shootdowns in addition to the huge Chinese spy balloon that was shot off the coast of South Carolina early this month.
None of the three unidentified objects have been tied to China or any other nation.

We don’t need a war with anybody, especially the Russians. I hope and pray that Biden does not shoot down anything that belongs to them and starts a war over it.

They are testing our defenses! They would shoot down our planes if we tried that. Biden is a big mouthed, braggadocio, weak bully who talks big but isn’t man enough to back it up. Putin and Xixinping are NOT afraid of him! They know he is NO leader! He is selling us out to the highest bidders! GET HIM OUT before he gets us into a war!

Yes, Patty. Somehow our Representatives and Senators have to get their big boy and girl pants on and have the guts to really look at all the cumulative data on 2020 fraud in over 20 states, plus media and FBI involvement.. ..and declare fraud on the election and throw Biden Administration and all his appointees out and reinstate Trump as legit President. After that prosecute the heck out of the criminals
But first we need Trump back in. We have had over two years of Biden/Harris full in trying to destroy America.
These were two Russian BOMBERS and two FIGHTRR JETS. NOT surveillance planes. Trump had contained Russian aggression, and I don’t think Ukraine invasion would have happened under his leadership. But we’re dealing with Biden/Harris/Obama/Soros leadership conglomerate now, who all hate America.
We have a treasonous President partnered with his treasonous son making deals with China. A few months ago Hunter was the broker for CHINA to purchase huge copper mines in Africa, defeating the efforts of two AMERICAN companies to purchase them. Copper is used to make AMMO and a lot of other necessary items. So Biden and son are facilitating CHINA procurement and going against American interests and security.
When Trump entered office, he had to spend a lot of money repairing and replacing American military.. .. equipment and ammo. Our ammo had been largely depleted under Obama, as had our Strategic Oil Reserves. Biden gets in and abandons $87.9 BILLION worth of military jets, helicopters, transport armored vehicles, aa TON of C4 explosives plus detonators, a million rounds of AMMO, computer recognition systems, rifles, bombs, camo uniforms and brand new models night vision wear, ETCETERA, plus 4 pallets stacked with American CASH. Leaving military equipment that could be used against America is an act of TREASON by definition. USE IT and arrest Biden/Harris, Milley, Armstrong, etc. Of the 13 Service members killed in Kabul, Afghanistan, ELEVEN were killed outright by the bomb at the wall. TWO SURVIVED and were seen, wounded, trying to pull people to safety behind wall, stated soldiers at the airport. However, a Taliban man wearing US CAMO CLOTHES AND USING AMERICAN RIFLE, gunned down the two survivors, bringing the total killed to 13. Soldiers at base also verified that fact, as does some of the photos of the scene at the wall. They show the dead soldiers thrown backwards from the bomb, and TWO soldiers lying forward, hanging over the wall, arms forward from trying to reach out to help victims and gunned down in that immortalized photo. Biden retaliated by (initially) proudly bombing back, mistakenly bombing and killing one of our Afghani military AIDES and his CHILDREN at their home. Of course Obama bombed a Doctors Without Borders hospital, killing doctors, nurses, an entire staff of an operating room while they were operating, patients.. .. but ZERO TERRORISTS.
Biden/Harris befriend China and destroy the headway Trump had made with N Korea and Russia to stand down and not be aggressive. Biden destroyed both efforts, plus the Abraham Accords (ticking off our Middle East allies),
befriended IRAN again, abandoned our best airbase in Afghanistan to China, consistently acted against Russia standing down and has forced them to befriend CHINA, with Xi being delighted. Now both China and Russia are displaying aggressive action against America. We had an agreement from decades ago to keep hostile foreign powers from encroaching this hemisphere. Biden has allowed buddy Xi/China to secure both sides of the PANAMA CANAL, our only water route connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans for trade and military.. .. AMERICAN SECURITY.. ..besides going around the tip of South America. Imagine how he has set us up to strangle America should we have a conflict here. He’s also allowed China to set up bases in South America.. . Venezuela, Brazil. Hillary, Obama, and BIDEN sold 25% of our rich URANIUM in the Uranium One Deal to allow Russia and China to obtain it, plus 25% of a rare earth materials mine in CALIFORNIA went to CHINA. Plus ranches, farmland, and food processing plants being sold to China, while still allowing Chinese easy access to American citizenship via the insane Birther Baby program. Yes, China is the biggest user of that program, routinely sending third Trimester pregnant LOYAL Chinese women to stay in the CA and FLA hotels they have purchased for maternity use only.
This is a long comment from a frustrated American, but probably could fill a book with all that Obama and Biden have done/are doing to destroy America. Even the Hunter paintings that fetch up to half a million $$. They will not release who buyers are, but Hunter’s art dealer proudly states he is the main art dealer to China. And Hunter also recently got a 3.2 Karat diamond from China. For what deed? Perhaps convincing his father to allow China to drill oil in the GULF of Mexico while he prevents USA companies from continuing to do so?
We need to oust fraudulently elected Biden/Haris and put legit winner Trump back in, and replenishing the 2+ yrs already stolen from his second term.

Yes they are, don’t sleep on our capacity, why do you think Putin use the term nuclear war if we gotten involved in Ukraine? He knows if we got involved it would be over in a week, China would be more of a challenge only due to volume, without causing a nuclear war we would wipe them out, no matter who is our president

Biden recently signed some Executive orders, many one of them had the word equity in them. Equity is the war on whites and Asian’s in this country, why would Biden back that garbage, does he hate his own race?
