Joe Biden to pay Hunter’s legal bills tied to Chinese business deals, email says

- This is the latest email that surfaced from Hunter’s laptop during his father’s term as vice president.
A new email that surfaced Tuesday revealed that President Joe Biden would temporarily cover Hunter Biden’s debts amounting to up to $800,000.
According to a January 2019 email by Hunter’s then-assistant, Katie Dodge, “Hunt’s dad” would be footing the bill for a while as his son transitioned careers. The email was sent to Virginia-based Global DEEZ bookkeeping firm founder Linda Shapero. Dodge discussed debts and bills racked up by Hunter, according to a report by the New York Post.
“I spoke with Hunter today regarding his bills,” Dodge wrote. “It is my understanding that Hunt’s dad will cover these bills in the short-term as Hunter transitions in his career.”
The email was directly addressed to the “VP team” and was carbon copied to Richard Ruffner, one of Joe Biden’s personal aides at the time.
The uncovered email is the latest in a series of discovered communications sent to and from Hunter Biden during his father’s term as vice president. The email was unearthed on a laptop Hunter left at a computer repair shop in Wilmington, Delaware.
The emails reveal how deep Hunter’s financial ties were to Chinese investors. There were also conversations that seem to reference Hunter asking his father for help with private business affairs.
On Tuesday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said she does not have information on several meetings between Hunter Biden‘s former business partner and Joe Biden when he was still vice president.
Psaki said, “He maintains his same statements that he’s made in the past,” when asked by Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich whether the president still maintained his position that he had not spoken with Hunter about his business dealings,
Eric Schwerin, Hunter’s business partner, paid 19 visits to the White House where he met with a variety of aides to the vice president, according to archived visitor logs from the Obama White House.

Don’t forget that each month, we the taxpayers, pay $30,000. in rent for Hunter’s SS agents to live next door to the POS in Malibu, Ca.
