Reps. Boebert, Greene heckle Biden during SOTU address [Video]

- Reps. Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Greene yelled out at President Joe Biden during his State of the Union address Tuesday night.
- The two GOP lawmakers tried to start a “build the wall” chant.
- Boebert yelled “13 of them” when Biden discussed battlefield conditions that may contribute to veterans’ developing cancers “that would put them in a flag-draped coffin.”
Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene, of Georgia and Lauren Boebertof Colorado repeatedly interrupted President Joe Biden at his State of the Union address Tuesday night.
Boebert and Greene tried to start a “build the wall” chant when Biden referred to securing the border and reforming immigration law.
But the moment that stood out most was when Boebert shouted “13 of them” when Biden discussed battlefield conditions that may contribute to veterans’ developing cancers “that would put them in a flag-draped coffin.” She was referring to the 13 U.S. service members who died in an attack in Afghanistan during the U.S. withdrawal last year.
Boebert’s remark came just before Biden mentioned that one such veteran was his son Beau Biden, who served in Iraq and died of brain cancer in 2015.
Her remark prompted some boos from fellow lawmakers.
“Her disruption was inappropriate, especially given the substance of the comments that the president was making at the time, which is to continue this way, which is to protect service members and our veterans,” Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., said.
Sen. Mike Braun, R-Ind., said: “It’s something that I think that there’s a place. That’s not the place to do that.”
“It’s unbecoming for a member of Congress to speak at an event that’s promoted by anyone who espouses those views,” said Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., the head of the conservative Republican Study Committee. “This is an event that no Republican should attend … and it’s unfortunate that she did.”
Greene defended her appearance at the America First Political Action Committee conference, which was organized by a prominent white nationalist and where attendees chanted in praise of Russian President Vladimir Putin. She told a CBS News reporter that she knew very little about the event’s founder and was not aware of his views.
Late last year, Boebert apologized after video emerged of her suggesting that fellow Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., had been mistaken for a terrorist in an elevator both were riding in the U.S. Capitol. Omar said the entire story was made up.
But Boebert did stand and cheer for one of Biden’s lines Tuesday.
“We should all agree: The answer is not to defund the police,” Biden said. “The answer is to fund the police.”
Boebert leaped from her seat, clapping and shouting, “That’s right!”

Instead of heckling the president a better way to insult Lying Corrupt Quid Pro KING Joe would have been for all the Republicans not to show up for the SOTU address to show their displeasure at the POTUS. Corrupt Quid Pro is a pathological liar and a serial plagiarizer. corrupt Quid Pro certainly plagiarized off of Trump. Corrupt Quid pro’s whole political career has been one big lie. The presidents address was nothing more than a bunch of rhetoric and garbage with no real solutions.

It would appear that these Republican women have learned that sometimes the only way to be noticed by the press is to act out.
There is no good excuse for their reprehensible behavior. They are an embarrassment to their party and to the country. I hope they lose re-election on account of this behavior. And I’m a Republican.
The State of the Union address is a time for the nation to come together to hear their president, whether they support him or not. Walking out is about the worst possible thing a party can do at such an event. I’m relieved no party did that. I hope no party does it again. We have a legal means for broadcasting disapproval, and rudeness is not one of them.

So is tearing up the copy of the SOTU address given by our former president. Pelosi has many more years and lots more experience, but she stooped to the lowest level seen on national TV. Why didn’t someone from her own party speak out against her actions? Because they all hated Trump so much that no matter what was said, good or bad,they all approved of her action. She is the Speaker of the House and her actions were beneath the dignity of the office.

These women have every right to oppose this liar about so facts. The Republican that has choose to Ridicule them is no more the a weak knee Republican or just plain a Rhino. Talking about them being an embarrassment to their party. There is no body in the history of the United States that has been more of an embarrassment than the one who was speaking and the two sitting behind him.

I would have Rep. Boebert to represent or vocalize my views anytime !!!!! If any of the Democrat women spew out their displeasure for anyone who goes against their ideology, actions, or otherwise, the press would give them a pass!

FJB- is a liar and just keeps doing it- can’t believe him for anything- When is the last time he or his WH has told the truth. He has been a disgrace, discredit, disease and a liar since the 60’s . His dog should have bit him instead of the staff member ! And yes his girl friend – the vice-president total lack of a human has no idea that she is alive- keeps making the U.S. look like #$@^% well you get the idea she need to keep her mouth shut .
I agree with Rep. Boebert 1000 % and soon his ratings won’t be a rating . Send FJB back to his basement for his milk and cookies . The country is starting to notice just how dump and stupid he really is . We will always have the 1st and 2nd GOD BLESS AMERICA .
