WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • Pat Cipollone, Former President Donald Trump’s White House counsel, agreed to testify Friday before the House select Jan. 6 committee.
  • Cipollone was subpoenaed by the committee a day after Cassidy Hutchinson’s bombshell testimony about Trump and his allies.
  • The Jan. 6 committee said it has obtained evidence that Cipollone “repeatedly raised legal and other concerns about President Trump’s activities on January 6th and in the days that preceded.”

Former President Donald Trump’s White House counsel Pat Cipollone agreed to testify behind closed doors on Friday before the congressional committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol attack.

The House select committee subpoenaed Cipollone last week a day after former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson delivered bombshell testimony about Trump and his allies in the run-up to and on Jan. 6, 2021.

According to Hutchinson’s public testimony, Cipollone had warned her at the time that they could face “every crime imaginable” if the former president went to the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, following his “Save America” rally.

A source familiar with the matter said that Cipollone’s Friday interview will be transcribed and videotaped.

The former White House counsel, who previously met with committee investigators in April for an informal interview, is considered a critical witness. Lawmakers even suggested that his testimony is the missing link in the investigation.

Cipollone had previously refused to cooperate with and speak formally with the Jan. 6 committee.

GOP Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming, a member of the committee, has repeatedly called on Cipollone publicly in recent weeks to testify. Rep. Bennie Thompson, the Jan. 6 committee chairman, issued Cipollone a subpoena last Wednesday.

“The Select Committee’s investigation has revealed evidence that Mr. Cipollone repeatedly raised legal and other concerns about President Trump’s activities on January 6th and in the days that preceded,” Rep. Bennie Thompson, the Jan. 6 committee chairman, and Cheney said in a statement last week.

In Hutchinson’s testimony last Tuesday, she said she saw Cipollone near the White House on the morning of Jan. 6, before Trump’s rally.

“Mr. Cipollone said something to the effect of, ‘Please make sure we don’t go up to the Capitol, Cassidy, keep in touch with me. We’re going to get charged with every crime imaginable if we make that movement happen.’”

Why isn’t the moron that told the lie to Cassidy Hutchinson being subpoenaed??? Because they knew she would gladly REPEAT a lie. They can’t imprison her for hearesay. Since when is “hearsay” allowed as testamony??? Nanshee Pelosi and her whole regime (and committee) should be in GITMO by now. They couldn’t get Trump after 2 impeachments trials, so they’re going to try something else. Insane is when you keep doing something over and over while expecting different results. These communist fascist imbeciles just don’t know when to quit. and Richard Izzo needs a rocket to mars with all his leftist buddies!!! We had one person/one vote until the democrats started cheating 50 years ago.

I’m not a leftist or an I right anymore. I don’t trust system anymore especially elections. It should be one citizen / one vote on a paper ballot. If you can’t get to a polling place then to bad. And then only hand counted with no game change.
