Conservatives rip Liz Cheney for endorsing a Democrat [Video]

- Conservatives are asking Americans to “stop calling Cheney a Republican.”
- Cheney lost to Harriet Hageman in the Wyoming Republican primary in August.
Conservatives slammed Rep. Liz Cheney after her announcement endorsing Democrat Rep. Elissa Slotkin of Michigan on Thursday.
Cheney, a long-time critic of former President Donald Trump, said she is “proud” to support an “honorable public servant” who “wants what’s best for the country and is in this for the right reasons.” She also confirmed she will attend an “Evening for Patriotism and Bipartisanship” event in Michigan next week to campaign with Slotkin.
Mark Levin, the host of Fox News’ “Life, Liberty & Levin” described Cheney as a “surreptitious Democrat” who “failed” to divide the Republican Party.
Levin compared Cheney to the former Confederacy’s President Jefferson Davis who led the short-lived U.S. breakaway and President Abraham Lincoln, his Union counterpart.
“If there’s a new civil war, I would say that Liz Cheney is on the wrong side of it– More Jefferson Davis than Abraham Lincoln; just saying,” the Fox News host said.
NewsBusters editor Tim Graham also called out Cheney for the endorsement, tweeting “When you do this, you’re not really conservative or Republican.”
National Review Online contributor Pradheep Shanker agreed with most Republicans by saying “At this point, Cheney is a Democrat. That is fine, but she should declare as one.”
Conservative podcaster Wayne DuPree, on the other hand, congratulated the Democratic Party on “their newest member.”
Mollie Hemingway, editor-in-chief of the Federalist, noted that the Wyoming Republican Party censured Cheney over her vote to impeach Trump. The Fox News contributor added that people removed from state party membership and replaced from House leadership are “many things” but ‘GOP’ is not one of them.”
Meanwhile, former Michigan state Rep. Tim Kelly asked the public to “stop calling Cheney a Republican.”
Michigan Sen. Tom Barrett, Slotkin’s opponent, seemed to approve of Cheney’s endorsement.
“It’s no surprise the Cheney family is joining [Slotkin] and it exposes the permanent Washington establishment’s War-First, America-Last agenda,” he tweeted. “Elissa Slotkin can keep Liz Cheney while I work to keep America out of senseless wars.”
Slotkin, on the other hand, welcomed Cheney’s endorsement, saying she and the Wyoming lawmaker may not agree on every issue but called Cheney an “indispensible” defender of a “democracy [that is] being challenged.”
Prior to the endorsement, Cheney said that she would rather serve alongside Slotkin, Democrats Mikie Sherrill of New Jersey and Chrissy Houlahan of Pennsylvania than with Republicans like Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia and Lauren Boebert of Colorado.
Cheney lost to lawyer Harriet Hageman by more than 37 points in the Wyoming Republican primary in August.

She would be a better Democrat than the far leftists, so it’s a win-win. She is no frontrunner though. She lost overwhelmingly because she was so focused on hating Trump, she ignored her constituents completely. That’s why she lost so bad. She needs to do some serious self reflection and maybe she can see how she failed and how blind she was.

Cheney is nothing but a RECTUM SUCKING PUPPET of the Democraps and has always been. She was the leader of the FAKE Republicans in the House and McConnell leads them in the Senate. The difference between a RINO and a FAKE Republican is that RINOS talk like Democraps in public whereas FAKE Republicans talk like REAL REPUBLICANS but like the MORON MEDIA they are just RECTUM SUCKING PUPPETS of the Democraps in Private. The MORON MEDUA can be IDENTIFIED by how they treat Democraps. They LIE for Democraps while LYING NO STOP about REAL REPUBLICANS. A prime example is how they say there was no FRAUD in the 2020 Election but all kinds of it in the 2016 Election from RUSSIA despite that being proven a LIE. The only REAL REPUBLICANS in DC are those who CHALLENGED that FARRCE Democraps, FAKE Republicans, and RINOS call an Election.
