  • Authorities allege Celeste Rivas Hernandez was dismembered and her remains were stored in a Tesla for more than four months.
  • David Anthony Burke faces charges including first-degree murder, sexual abuse of a minor, and unlawful mutilation.

Los Angeles prosecutors revealed new details Thursday in the case against David Anthony Burke, known professionally as D4vd.

Investigators say they uncovered 40 terabytes of evidence, including significant amounts of child pornography on the suspect’s mobile device.

The district attorney alleges Burke was involved in a sexual relationship with Hernandez when she was under the age of 14.

He reportedly lured her to his Hollywood Hills home after she threatened to expose their relationship.

Medical examiners determined the victim died from multiple penetrating injuries caused by a sharp instrument.

Following the murder, Burke allegedly amputated the victim’s limbs and fingers before hiding her body in his vehicle while it decomposed.

The defense team has requested a preliminary hearing, arguing that prosecutors have not yet handed over all relevant evidence.

Burke has pleaded not guilty to all charges, including special circumstances such as murder of a witness.

D4vd is currently being held without bail as the district attorney considers whether to seek the death penalty.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 1.
