Father Hands Over Son to Police Following Infanticide Confession
Knowledge Nuggets:
- The father of a 3-month-old girl found dead in a littered woodland area in The Bronx was turned in by his own father, following a chilling confession about the baby’s death.
- Damion Comager, 23, was arrested and charged with murder and concealment of a corpse after he allegedly confessed to shaking his daughter to death when she wouldn’t stop crying and then hiding her body.
- The baby’s mother, Ivana Paolozzi, was also arrested and charged with concealment of a corpse and obstructing governmental administration.
In a heart-wrenching act of justice, Donald Comager, 47, turned in his son, Damion Comager, to the authorities following a shocking confession about the death of Damion’s 3-month-old daughter, Genevieve Rozzlyn Comager. The infant’s lifeless body was found in a trash-filled woodland area in The Bronx, adding an extra layer of tragedy to an already grim situation.
Damion, a 23-year-old with a history of mental illness, reportedly admitted to his father that he had shaken his baby girl in a moment of frustration when she wouldn’t stop crying, leading to her untimely death. According to his confession, he found her “stiff” and “cold” after waking up, which caused him to panic and hide the body.
The crime scene, located near West 161st Street and the Major Deegan Expressway, was alarmingly close to the transitional housing shelter where Damion lived with his girlfriend and the infant’s mother, Ivana Paolozzi. Following the grim discovery of the infant’s body, the young couple found themselves in police custody, facing charges related to the crime.
Damion was charged with murder and concealment of a corpse, while Ivana was arrested and charged with concealment of a corpse and obstructing governmental administration. The couple, who had met in Switzerland, moved to New York City just months before the birth of their daughter.
The revelation of the baby’s death was a harrowing experience for the elder Comager, who had been in contact with his son and grandchild regularly. After grappling with the difficult decision, he consulted with a priest and decided to notify the police, stating, “That was my grandbaby.”

How unfortunate for all. There are places you can call and help you can get for this kind of problem. No need to shake a baby. Father probably did not know this.

The child is better off deceased than having a thug piece of shit for a sperm donor willing to kill it for a a few hours of sleep.

If the father had mental health issues and that was a known fact, he should not have been anywhere near the child, and especially not alone with the child. I am not sure from the story if the mother was a witness to the shaking event. People should be of stronger backbone BEFORE a tragedy like this, to prevent it, and not wait until it is too late before you use good judgment. The elder man should have known his grandchild was in danger.

Why is this publication showing the handcuffs on a white person under the headline when the criminal who killed the baby is actually BLACK?
I’ve noticed this trend repeated over and over again in alternate news media. A picture shown is of a white person unrelated to the crime emblazoned in the Headline, only to find when you read the article that the criminal was BLACK?
Why is “Crystal Clear News” doing that?
This is my first and the last comment on fake “Crystal Clear”news because, unless I get a good answer, I’m cancelling my subscription in PROTEST.
