Following the Black Lives Matter (BLM) protests of 2020, American corporations gave or pledged over $83 billion to BLM or BLM-related causes, according to a database tracking contributions and pledges made in the wake of the riots.
The protests, which resulted in over $2 billion in damages and changes in laws and private sector policies, achieved more than expected, including a transfer of wealth to racial and left-wing causes. While some companies such as JPMorgan, Bank of America, and Silicon Valley Bank made large contributions, even seemingly middle-America companies like Cargill, Kroger, and Caterpillar donated significant amounts.
The database, created by researchers, lists more than 400 companies and $83 billion in pledges and contributions. However, consulting firm McKinsey and Company believes the number is far larger, estimating that from May 2020 to October 2022, companies pledged about $340 billion “to racial equity, specifically for Black Americans after the murder of George Floyd in May 2020.”
The researchers note that their number is conservative but provides details about specific company pledges and contributions.
Contributions and pledges varied, with some companies making cash transfers to partners of BLM, such as the Color of Change, the NAACP, the Equal Justice Initiative, and the ACLU. Others supported initiatives such as race-based discriminatory hiring programs, sub-prime lending, scholarships, and voter initiatives.
Some companies focused on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, which aim to redistribute honor, privileges, and money to black Americans. While DEI and BLM share a mission to punish white America, they differ in their approaches, with BLM relying on riots and pressure campaigns, and DEI using preferential hiring and promotion of members of protected groups.

The CEO’s and Boards of Directors of these large companies should all be fired for laying out that kind of money.
And they should be held responsible for making good on those payouts. BLM and Antifa demanded pay offs for
the death of a convicted felon who just got out of a Texas prison after serving a five year conviction for armed robbery.
And this is the kind of person they are trying to glorify He spent over half his life in prison for committing various felonies.
And he had enough drugs in his system that he was a walking dead man according to the coroner.

Why didn’t the Corporations first donate an accountable amount to the places and people who were damaged by the actions of the rioters. Secondly instead of misguided donations without any accountability, why not lower the prices and fees of their products for people who will pay for them not loot them. Lastly, do some investigating into organizations that could honestly help the communities of the protesters.

personally I am fed up with BLM. I have lived a long and good life. Never in my life time has there been anything more ridiculous than BLM. I am a nurse and I have worked with all different colors of skin, and when it came time to draw blood or start an IV my return color in the vein was always red. There was never another color. So to me we all bled the same. People, get past the superficial color and look at the inside. That’s what it boils down to. People of all skin color can have an ugly inside, so stop being stupid. ALL LIVES MATTER
