Emergency responders evaluated all vehicle occupants at the scene before transport to medical facilities.

Representatives confirmed that Spelling’s children and several of their friends required medical attention following the impact.

This incident follows a period of transition for the actress after filing for divorce in early 2024.

The Riverside Sheriff’s Department said, “On April 2, 2026, at 5:44 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 28000 block of Rancho California Road regarding a vehicle collision.”

The department added, “Upon arrival, deputies located two vehicles with collision damage. All occupants were medically evaluated at the scene.”

Spelling has five children with her estranged husband, Dean McDermott, whom she separated from in 2023.

She has recently requested full physical custody of the children alongside joint legal custody.
