Authorities said the investigation began in January 2025 after allegations surfaced regarding inappropriate contact with a student at a charter school in Moreno Valley.

Watson faces three felony charges: sending harmful material to a juvenile, oral copulation with a minor, and digital penetration of a minor. The alleged criminal conduct took place between 2017 and 2018 while Watson was employed as a teacher at a charter school located in the 23000 block of Sunnymead Boulevard.

Investigators executed a search warrant on May 22 at Watson’s residence in the 14000 block of Silent Stream Court in Eastvale. She was arrested without incident and booked into custody.

The sheriff’s office has not disclosed the name of the charter school where Watson was employed. Authorities indicated the investigation remains active and ongoing.

“This is an ongoing investigation, and no additional details are available at this time,” the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office said in a public statement.
