Virginia Parole Board Releases Violent Felons Back Onto Streets

Clear Facts
- Six criminals serving life sentences were paroled by the board.
- Virginia officials granted parole to dozens of rapists, murderers, and repeat violent offenders.
- The parole board released multiple violent felons despite their original life sentences.
Virginia parole officials have quietly approved the release of multiple violent offenders who were originally sentenced to life behind bars.
The board’s decisions include six criminals who had been serving life sentences for serious crimes.
“The parole board is making decisions that put public safety at risk,” said one critic familiar with the cases.
Community leaders have raised concerns that the releases prioritize offenders over victims and law-abiding citizens.
“These individuals were given life sentences for a reason,” noted a local official.

What the HELL is going on? WHY would they do that? These felons, rapists, etc. should be dead not free to reoffend. Perhaps those who turned them loose will be their next victims. I can only hope, since they don’t care about the rest of society and the problems they have released into our lives. ASSHOLES!

Where is our genius Mark? He’s a proud democrat! He can explain why releasing felons and allowing murders in the country is good idea. Probably because orange man bad.

Damn shame they have no more intelligence than to let these criminals be released back to society!

As a born-again believer who has been forgiven by God for (my) sins, I believe the choice of parole/release is not in itself inherently inappropriate…BUT, God’s forgiveness involves remorse and repentance – so parole/release should at least be dependent upon an offender possessing these attitudes to (at least in theory) decrease the likelihood of reoffending…with parole/release, one option could be to dangle the death penalty for reoffending (but this deterrent is dependent upon being apprehended after reoffending)…
With all this stated, I realize that victims of these offenders in particular could disagree with parole/release…whether or not these victims can forgive their (respective) offenders is up to the victims (not necessarily easy to do)…

Sounds all well and good David. BUT, whose is gonna be responsible when they rape and murder again? Can they live next door to you? Who is going to decide if they rehabilitated themselves? Maybe the purple haired libtard!! Yeah, that’s not gonna work. Hold the board that releases them responsible for the crimes and jail them along side the perps
