In a rare display of bipartisanship, the House Oversight Committee has decided to move forward with subpoenas targeting several former high-ranking officials. This decision includes notable figures such as Bill and Hillary Clinton, James Comey, and Merrick Garland.

Oversight Chairman James Comer acknowledged the support from the committee’s new ranking Democrat, California Rep. Robert Garcia. Comer expressed his appreciation for Garcia’s bipartisan approach, stating, “I commend Representative Robert Garcia for being bipartisan in one of his first official acts as Ranking Member of the Oversight Committee.”

Garcia’s involvement didn’t stop there. He also sent a letter to Chairman Comer, urging for the immediate subpoena of the Department of Justice to obtain documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. In his statement, Garcia framed this move as a triumph for transparency, asserting, “The Oversight Committee is preparing subpoenas for these individuals and the Epstein files and will issue them in the near future.”

He further emphasized the significance of this action by stating, “Committee Democrats won the fight for transparency, successfully passing a motion to force the Department of Justice to release the Epstein files.” Garcia continued, “Today, I’m writing to Chairman Comer requesting he immediately make good on his promise to issue the official subpoena.”

Garcia highlighted the urgency of the situation, declaring, “The American people have waited long enough for the Epstein files.” He added a call to action, “This is not the time for Republicans to drag their feet.”

Chairman Comer echoed the sentiment of persistence, stating, “We will keep pushing until the American people finally get the truth they deserve – nothing less.” This development marks a significant step in the ongoing efforts to bring transparency and accountability regarding the Epstein investigation.

It’s still also important to expose those that sexually abused children. Those children’s lives will never be the same. Look what happened to Virginia Giuffre. She committed suicide all these years later because it still haunted her. The perpetrators need to pay for their crimes. It’s been alleged that children way younger than the teenage girls were also abused – some as young as toddlers.

Why is Garcia, a top dem, pushing so hard for this? Especially if other top dems might be exposed? It’s starting to take
on a political theme of “Get Trump”at any cost.
