White House Press Secretary Dodges Cocaine Question in Press Briefing

New York Post reporter Caitlin Doornbos chose to revisit a topic that had seemingly been glossed over in previous discussions. “Sorry to bring up cocaine again,” Doornbos began, “But there was a question yesterday during a press gaggle with Andrew Bates that, I guess, he said that he was avoiding it because of the Hatch Act. I’m just asking again, can you just say once and for all whether or not the cocaine belonged to the Biden family?”
The inquiry, referring to a baggie of cocaine found near the White House Situation Room on Sunday, elicited nervous laughter from the assembled press corps. Jean-Pierre’s response was rather indirect.
She began, “So, a couple of things there. Um, he mentioned the Hatch Act because the question was posed to him in using Donald Trump, so he was trying to be very mindful—” At this point, Jean-Pierre was interrupted, but continued with her response, which seemed to shift focus rather than directly addressing the issue at hand.
Jean-Pierre claimed that the White House was not avoiding the question and then turned the focus onto the reporter, calling the question “incredibly irresponsible.” She asserted that the Biden family was not in the White House at the time the cocaine was found, yet she did not outright deny any connection between the Biden family and the discovered baggie of cocaine.
This evasion brings to light the lack of transparency and potential deflection tactics currently at play in the White House press briefings. With questions still lingering, it’s clear this issue has not been settled in the eyes of the press and, most likely, the American public.

I don’t understand why the news media doesn’t ask the obvious questions, like, “What does the Hatch Act have to do with an illegal drug found in the White House”, or “Whether or not the Bidens were in the White House or not when the baggie of coke was found has nothing to do with whether the Bidens were in the building or not. Now please answer our questions instead of deflecting.” Clearly, only a few of the news media members care about an illegal drug found in the WH, and that’s a shame.

There she goes again, avoiding to answer a question with a simple yes or no answer. So she avoids the issue and the question by shifting the blame to someone else to avoid answering the question. Why was she avoiding the question, and then has the audacity to blame someone else to obviously take the blame off the Bidens. Why, Why, Why? What is she hiding? Are both the Bidens snorting? It is not the President’s age that is causing his inept actions and lame brain speeches, is it probably snorting? These cover ups, and obvious laughable, lack of charges, that were imposed on Hunter, along with the blundering actions by the president should not be over looked!! It is making our country the laughing stock of the world.
