Over 1,000 NYC workers get terminated over vaccine mandate

- More than a thousand workers in New York City got terminated after failing to comply with the city’s vaccine mandate.
- Around 4,000 workers were notified about the mandate in late January.
- The 1,430 workers who failed to comply before the Friday deadline lost their jobs.
The office of the New York City mayor confirmed that over a thousand workers have been terminated for failure to comply with the city’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
Up to 4,000 workers were notified in late January about the mandate. It requires them to show proof that they received at least two doses of the vaccine; otherwise, they would get terminated.
Of these, three-quarters have been on leave without pay for months after missing an earlier deadline for getting vaccinated in order to keep their jobs.
The city had to terminate the 1,430 workers who missed the Friday deadline to get vaccinated. This makes up less than 1% of the city’s 370,000-person workforce.
Mayor Eric Adams said that the city workers who got vaccinated showed how willing they are “to do the right thing to protect themselves and all New Yorkers,” especially when they serve “on the front lines during the pandemic.”
“Our goal was always to vaccinate, not terminate, and city workers stepped up and met the goal placed before them,” the mayor continued.
About 64% of the 1,430 worked for the city’s education department.
There was an agreement between the city and the United Federation of Teachers that allowed its members to choose to stay on unpaid leave until September 5.
However, about 700 members chose not to provide proof of vaccine nor extend their leave. Last week, these 700 were notified that they would be fired.
Still, the union argued that the workers deserved due process that involved a hearing before getting terminated. They joined with others to have a court block the terminations, but the judge ruled in favor of the city on Thursday.
A group of employees from the Department of Education appealed the decision, but it was dismissed by the U.S. Supreme Court on Friday.
NYC’s vaccine mandate is one of the most rigorous in the country, since it requires almost all city workers, including employees of private companies, to be vaccinated.
Gyms, restaurants, and entertainment venues also require proof of vaccination before allowing entry.
About 1,700 new COVID-19 cases were reported in NYC last week. That’s a significant decrease from the nearly 41,000 average daily cases during the Omicron surge in early January. However, it’s still around 56% higher than in October, when the vaccine mandate was announced for city employees.

New world Order Agenda 21 %Agenda 2030.
“The future will be about finding a way to reduce the population. We start with the old, because as soon as they exceed 60-65 years, people live longer than they produce and that costs society dearly. Then the weak, then the useless that do not help society because there will always be more of them, and above all, ultimately, the stupid. Euthanasia is targeting these groups; Euthanasia will have to be an essential tool in our future societies, in all cases. Of course we will not be able to execute people or build camps. We get rid of them by making them believe that it is for their own good. Overpopulation, and mostly useless, is something that is too costly economically. Socially, too, it is much better when the human machine comes to an abrupt standstill than it will gradually deteriorate. Neither will we be able to test millions upon millions of people for their intelligence, you bet that! We will find or cause something a pandemic targeting certain people, a real economic crisis or not, a virus affecting the old or the fat, it doesn’t matter, the week will succumb to it, the fearful and stupid will believe in it and seek treatment. We will have made sure that treatment is in place, treatment that will be the solution. The selection of idiots then takes care of itself: You go to the slaughter by yourself. ” [The future of life – Jacques Attali, 1981] Interviews with Michel Salomon, Les Visages de l’avenir collection, édition’s Seghers. “

The voters need to stop voting for race. If the voters want identity politics and want to vote for race, then at least vote for someone that is qualified to run NYC. Just because Adams, an African American was a former police captain, doesn’t make him qualified to be Mayor of NYC any more than certified Communist extraordinaire DeBlasio. What was needed to run NYC is a person like Bloomberg, doesn’t mean he has to be White, a CEO of a large Corporation. Running NYC is like running a large Corporation. Adams is not that person. When one wants to make his brother Deputy Police Commissioner, that sends the voters the wrong signal. One will find that Adams is just as corrupt s the other liberal commie Democrat politicians. If this were a Republican Mayor, those 1,000 city workers would have never been fired.
