Howard Stern announces 2024 presidential run, reveals Bradley Cooper is his VP [Video]

Following Howard Stern’s Monday statement that he might run for president in 2024, the shock jock said popular actor Bradley Cooper has agreed to be his running mate.
Stern said Wednesday that Cooper texted him earlier this week congratulating him for potentially throwing his hat in the ring.
During his Monday show, the 68-year-old “king of all media” said that being president is the one thing he hasn’t yet achieved in his career. Stern then said that he would like the job in order to “make the country fair again” following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Stern told sidekick Robin Quivers on Wednesday that he received a congratulatory text from Cooper in response to his 2024 plan. The jock then took the opportunity to offer the A-list actor to be his vice president.
“Done,” Cooper reportedly texted back, according to Stern.
Stern loved Cooper’s positive response because he knows the Hollywood leading man will get him the votes.
“This guy is gonna bring in the female vote like you wouldn’t believe,” the Sirius XM host said.
Stern added that Cooper, who has been nominated for an Academy Award nine times, had misgivings about joining a ticket that would be exclusively white and male.
But Stern dismissed such doubts, assuring the actor that he would be “such an asset, people will understand.”
Stern added: “He said yes, so my search is over.”
This isn’t the first time the famous host has offered the public his thoughts about entering politics.
He first tested to enter the political scene when he ran for New York governor as a libertarian. However, he dropped out when he was asked to reveal his personal finances.
Stern said last year that he would run for president just to derail former President Donald Trump’s bid for reelection.
