The collision occurred shortly after 3 a.m. on the Terminal B Departures Level 3 roadway. Emergency responders arrived to find the shuttle bus pressed against the concrete barrier with severe front-end damage, shattered windshield glass, and a crumpled door.

Three individuals sustained serious injuries in the crash, while ten others suffered minor injuries. Authorities confirmed that none of the injuries were considered life-threatening.

All injured passengers were transported to nearby hospitals for evaluation and treatment. Police tape cordoned off the crash site as first responders worked to manage the scene and investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The crash forced authorities to close the Terminal B Departures Level 3 roadway while crews cleared debris from the area. The Port Authority Police Department issued an advisory directing passengers departing from Terminal B to use Level 2 for drop-offs due to the ongoing police activity.

Video footage from the scene showed extensive damage to the shuttle bus, with its front end completely crumpled from the impact. Glass from both the windshield and door littered the roadway around the vehicle.

The Port Authority Police Department has not released information about what caused the shuttle bus to crash into the barrier. The investigation into the incident remains active and ongoing.
