A recent worrying incident has shed light on potential risks linked to electric vehicles. NFL athlete Randall Cobb’s home went up in flames, reportedly due to a charger connected to his Tesla.
Cobb’s wife, their three children, and their dog were in the property at the time, but all managed to flee safely. The alarming event has raised queries about the safety protocols for electric vehicles and their equipment.
Randall Cobb, currently a player for the Green Bay Packers, shared the incident on social media. He emphasized the severity of the situation, stating, “We are lucky to be alive”, highlighting the potential danger that was narrowly avoided.
The fire incident is being investigated. Preliminary findings suggest that the charger, connected to the Tesla car, may have been the fire’s origin.
Cobb didn’t directly point fingers at Tesla or the electric vehicle charger for the incident. However, he did stress the need for improved safeguards to avoid similar incidents in the future.
Concerned, he called for an evaluation of current safety protocols, saying, “Praying that we can find some answers and make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else.”
While this incident casts doubt on the safety of electric vehicles and their accessories, it also emphasizes the importance of home fire safety precautions. It serves as a reminder for everyone to ensure their homes are equipped with working smoke detectors and evacuation plans.
This incident is a stark reminder of the potential hazards that can exist in our homes. As we increasingly depend on technology and adapt to promote sustainability, we must also remain aware of potential risks and ensure the safety of ourselves and our loved ones.

EV’s were forced upon us by the government without thinking about the drawbacks. We need to pause this until serious problems are resolved.

The government and Joe Biden should be responsible for these disasters since they are forcing the industry down this path. Why should I pay higher insurance premiums for the stupidity of the president and his cronies that have no business telling the markets what to make. It has always been free enterprise until Obama the foreigner and Joe Biden the walking cadaver.

WHEN ARE WE THE PEOPLE GOING TO STAND UP AND BE THE PEOPLE. EV’S ARE BEING FORCED ON US “THE PUBLIC” NOT BY THE CAR INDUSTRY, THEY’VE LEARED THIER LESSON TAUGHT BY POOR SALES BUT BY THE SOCALIST LEFT AND LIBERIALS. THINK ABOUT THIS, HOW MUCH OF A JUNKED AUTO IS RECYCLED COMPARED TO THAT OF AN EV. ALSO, HOW MUCH OF An EV IS ENVIRMENTAL RECYCLEIBLE TO START WITH AND END IN THE GROUND WITH. MAKES NO SENSE TO ME.
