Trump offers to lead peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • Former President Trump is volunteering to head up a team to negotiate a peace settlement between Ukraine and Russia.
  • Trump said it’s time to “get a negotiated deal” after news of the leak in the Nord Stream pipeline broke out.
  • Posting on Truth Social, the former president said “The entire World is at stake.”

Former President Donald Trump suggested on Wednesday that he could lead a team to broker peace between Russia and Ukraine.

In a pair of posts on Truth Social, Trump expressed his concern with the apparent sabotage of the critical undersea Nord Stream gas pipeline between eastern Russia and Europe

In his first post, Trump claimed the pipeline had been sabotaged, which “could lead to major escalation, or War!”

“U.S. ‘Leadership’ should remain ‘cool, calm, and dry’ on the SABOTAGE of the Nord Stream Pipelines. This is a big event that should not entail a big solution, at least not yet,” the former president wrote.

Trump also repeated his claim that the Ukraine war would never have happened if he had been president and offered solutions to the situation.

“Do not make matters worse with the pipeline blowup. Be strategic, be smart (brilliant!), get a negotiated deal done NOW,” Trump wrote. “Both sides need and want it. The entire World is at stake. I will head up group???”

Trump’s statements were in contrast to some remarks he made in the early days of the Ukraine war.

The former president previously lauded Putin for his actions in relation to Ukraine, even calling the Russian leader a ‘genius.’ Then in March, Trump made a comment that he would send nuclear submarines to go “up and down” Russia’s coast to pressure Putin. He also joked that the US should use Chinese flags on its fighter jets and “bomb the shit” out of Russia.

Trump has also once said that Putin never would have invaded Ukraine were he still president

Experts said the Nord Stream gas pipeline leaks were likely triggered by powerful underwater blasts rather than a natural event. German media outlets have hinted that it was an act of sabotage.

The Nord Stream pipeline provides fossil fuels critical for eastern European countries to meet their energy demands. The apparent sabotage is seen by some as an apparent threat by Russia to cripple the economies of Ukrainian allies like Germany into alleviating economic sanctions that have served to stall the Russian war effort.

As if that repurposed corpse in the white house would ever agree to President Trump gaining popularity by bringing peace to the world. It’s highly likely that the Biden Regime (those who control Biden) actually want a war with Russia so they can cancel the midterm elections. I personally would not put it past them as they are complete and utter morons.

Morons. the only moron I can tell is you and all the rest of the MAGA morons. Ya sure send the moron trump to Russia and he probably trade all the classified documents he stole to Putin for money to pay for all his lawyers. Trump is last person we would want to negotiate the war with Russia and Ukraine. He is and idiot just like his MAGA followers and yes that includes you.

BTW if he was still in office as he should be, we wouldn’t have to send anyone as there wouldn’t be problems to begin with!
And there wouldn’t be the problem now brewing with NK, thanks to the dipshit VP!

To those who detest Trump: OK, I get it. Trump is egocentric, narcissist, crude, rude, a typical New Yorker (in the worst sense of the word) a philanderer, probably cheated some of his contractors during his bankruptcy.

But he is a terrific negotiator who has vast experience dealing with corrupt union bosses in NYC. During his tenure, we suffered no additional wars and he brought troops back. Some manufacturing returned to the US. Our energy policies were clear, and we did not suffer from the kinds of instability we now have in our financial sector. Even including Covid, which in my opinion was Trump’s worst mistakes. He shouldn’t have closed down.

I can see no particular downside to his attempting to negotiate with Putin. I know many of you hate Trump with an intensity that would melt a small city. I never cared for him personally, but he was a very good president. I have wondered why so many of you detest him so much. I believe it has something to do with his entertainment “personality”, that of being a bully. It’s just an act, folks.

At least MAGA voters were smart enough to pick Trump over the 16 other RINO’s in 2016.

Trump would never get to negotiate peace between Ukraine and Russia. Democrats are too scared he would succeed.
