President Donald Trump confirmed Monday that the United States and Iran have engaged in two days of constructive conversations.

These talks aim for a total resolution of hostilities following the commencement of Operation Epic Fury.

As a result of this progress, the Department of War has been instructed to postpone planned strikes against Iranian energy infrastructure.

Trump indicated that power plants will remain untouched for five days while discussions continue throughout the week.

“I am pleased to report that the United States of America, and the country of Iran, have had, over the last two days, very good and productive conversations regarding a complete and total resolution of our hostilities in the,” Trump posted on Truth Social.

“Based on the tenor and tone of these in depth, detailed, and constructive conversations, which will continue throughout the week, I have instructed the department of war to postpone any and all military strikes against Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure for a five day period, subject to the success of the ongoing meetings and discussions.”

The diplomatic shift follows a firm ultimatum where the President gave Iran 48 hours to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

Previous military operations began on February 28 after Iran launched missile and drone strikes against various regional allies.

“If Iran doesn’t FULLY OPEN, WITHOUT THREAT, the Strait of Hormuz, within 48 HOURS from this exact point in time, the United States of America will hit and obliterate their various POWER PLANTS, STARTING WITH THE BIGGEST ONE FIRST!” Trump warned.

WTI Futures Crude Oil recently closed at $98.32, marking a rise of over $30 since the start of the conflict.

The administration has previously urged international allies like Japan and France to assist in securing the vital shipping lane against Iranian interference.

“Hopefully China, France, Japan, South Korea, the UK, and others, that are affected by this artificial constraint, will send Ships to the area so that the Hormuz Strait will no longer be a threat by a Nation that has been totally decapitated. In the meantime, the United States will be bombing the hell out of the shoreline, and continually shooting Iranian Boats and Ships out of the water,” Trump said.
