“He’s not going to be Santa Claus this next year,” Sheriff Judd stated during the announcement.

The undercover operation involved detectives posing as minors on social media platforms and messaging apps. Suspects allegedly engaged in explicit conversations and made arrangements to meet what they believed were children for sexual purposes. When they arrived at predetermined locations, law enforcement officers were waiting to make arrests.

All 19 suspects face serious felony charges, including traveling to meet a minor for unlawful sexual activity, attempted lewd and lascivious battery, and use of a computer to solicit a child. Additional charges vary by case depending on the specific actions and communications of each suspect.
