“In 10 minutes, the IDF completed the largest coordinated strike across Lebanon since the start of Operation Roaring Lion,” the IDF posted on X.

As Israeli forces move to secure territory up to the Litani River, the military aims to eliminate Radwan forces and destroy weapons caches that threaten northern Israel.

This offensive follows a period where Hezbollah utilized first-person view drone tactics, a strategy reportedly mirrored from recent international conflicts.

“At the end of the operation, the IDF would control the area up to the Litani River, including the remaining Litani bridges, while eliminating Radwan forces,” stated Defense Minister Israel Katz.

While Hezbollah claims it attempted to abide by the ceasefire, Israel remains committed to dismantling the group’s capabilities.

Vice President J.D. Vance, leading negotiations with Tehran, described the current situation as a fragile truce given the ongoing volatility in the region.

Lebanon maintains a significant Christian population, estimated at over 30 percent, with the nation’s president, Joseph Aoun, belonging to the faith.

The ongoing conflict has displaced over a million people since fighting intensified earlier this year.
