New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton scored big in the offseason, officially marrying Olympic track star Anna Hall in a ceremony that celebrated both athletic excellence and enduring love. The couple exchanged vows at Oheka Castle, a historic Gold Coast mansion on Long Island, on April 11.
The love story began when Slayton, 29, made a bold move that would make any football fan proud. After following Hall on Instagram, he attended one of her track meets in New York without telling her. Following the competition, Slayton approached the athlete to introduce himself and ask her to dinner.
The gamble paid off. The two hit it off immediately, and their relationship blossomed over the following months.
In November 2025, Slayton orchestrated a proposal that honored the beginning of their relationship. He brought Hall, 25, back to the very stadium where they first met—Icahn Stadium in New York—and got down on one knee on the track itself.
“I took her back to the same stadium in New York, where we had met, and proposed on the track,” Slayton said.
“He told me we were going on a date in the city, which we do a lot,” Hall said. “So I didn’t think anything of it, until he told me he was dressing up. Then I was a little suspicious, because he never dresses up! When the car pulled up to Icahn Stadium, instead of a restaurant, that’s when I knew for sure.”
Both athletes bring impressive credentials to their union. Slayton just completed his seventh season with the Giants, recording 37 catches for 538 yards and one touchdown in his most recent campaign. Over his NFL career, the wide receiver has hauled in 296 passes for 4,435 yards with 22 touchdowns, establishing himself as a reliable target in the Giants’ offense.
Hall has made her own mark on the international stage. She represented Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games in the women’s heptathlon, finishing in fifth place against the world’s best competitors. She went on to capture gold in the heptathlon at the 2025 World Athletics Championships, cementing her status as one of America’s premier track and field athletes.
The wedding at Oheka Castle provided a fitting backdrop for two champions beginning their next chapter together. The historic Long Island estate has long been a symbol of American excellence and achievement.
