  • Russia claims to have deployed its hypersonic Kinzhal (Dagger) missiles into Ukraine.
  • The missiles destroyed an underground depot housing Ukrainian missiles and aircraft ammunition, according to the Russian defense ministry.
  • Russia also claimed to have deployed the Bastion coastal missile system to destroy military radio and reconnaissance centers near Ukraine’s port city of Odessa.

Russia claims to have fired its hypersonic Kinzhal (Dagger) missiles into Ukraine’s western Ivano-Frankivsk region, destroying a large weapons depot in the process.

According to a report from Russia’s Interfax news agency, it was the first deployment of the hypersonic Kinzhal system since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine started on Feb. 24.

Russian news agencies shared a recording of a briefing with defense ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov, who said that the Kinzhal system deployed on Friday hit an underground depot housing Ukrainian missiles and aircraft ammunition.

It was confirmed by a spokesperson for Ukraine’s air force command that a Russian missile hit Delyatyn in the Ivano-Frankivsk region on Friday. No further details were given, however.

President Vladimir Putin has previously touted its advanced weaponry. Back in December, he claimed that Russia was the global leader in hypersonic missiles. He said that the missiles could reach such speed, maneuverability, and altitude that make them more difficult to track and intercept.

Back in 2018, the Kinzhal missiles were part of an array of weapons that Russia unveiled.

On Saturday, Konashenkov claimed that Russian forces also deployed the Bastion coastal missile system, which destroyed military radio and reconnaissance centers near the Ukrainian port city of Odessa.

Russia described its attack on Ukraine as a “special operation” meant to demilitarize its southern neighbor, claiming that it has been taken over by dangerous nationalists.

Russian troops were met with heavy resistance by Ukraine. In a bid to force Russia to withdraw, Western countries have imposed hefty economic sanctions on Russia and its personalities, while providing financial and military aid to Ukraine.

They need to find him and take him out. His own military is disgusted and doesn’t want to be where they are. This is just as bad if not worse as the Holocaust in my opinion

Russia is going to be targeted for many years by Ukraine’s civilians for destroying their country, cities and killing their families. Putin feels safe now that the Democrats are in office, with dodo as POTUS, but Putin has already lost the war and doesn’t know it yet. Russia collapsed in 1991 and the countries they annexed years before wanted their freedom again; not a dictator. Democrats are to blame for United States weakness to stand up to Russia. Dodo Biden and his criminal party is only interested in their fake climate control, equity crap and cutting off our oil, so that people will buy an electric car, that doesn’t suit everyone. Good luck on that B/S.
