The president criticized the mismanagement of California’s fire-prone areas, pointing to a failure to take preventive measures despite long-standing vulnerabilities.

“It could pose real dangers for our country as well. Americans are being buried under an avalanche of misinformation and disinformation, enabling the abuse of power,” he warned.

Despite these warnings, Biden took a moment to reflect on his administration’s achievements. He claimed success in reducing violent crime and creating nearly 17 million new jobs, though he omitted the context of inheriting an economy recovering from a pandemic.

He also emphasized the strengthening of NATO and the ongoing freedom of Ukraine, despite Russia’s aggressive actions.

Before concluding, Biden called for significant reforms, including term limits for Supreme Court justices and restrictions on congressional stock trading.

“We need to enact an 18 year time limit. Term limit, time and term for the strongest ethic and the strongest ethic reforms for Supreme Court,” he urged.
