Trump’s Move Pushes Democrats Into a Costly Blunder

Clear Facts

  • U.S. District Judge James Boasberg attempted to halt the deportation of Venezuelan gang members, but the Trump administration proceeded with the deportation.
  • Democrats criticized Trump’s decision, with some labeling it as an unconstitutional move and others expressing concern over due process.
  • Trump’s actions are supported by a significant portion of Americans, with recent polls showing increased approval ratings for his administration.

Over the weekend, Democrats found themselves in a precarious position, risking the last vestiges of their credibility with the American public. The controversy erupted when U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, an Obama appointee known for his involvement in past political scandals, attempted to block the Trump administration from deporting Venezuelan gang members to El Salvador. These individuals were slated to serve prison sentences for their involvement in gang activities.

Despite Boasberg’s order, the Trump administration continued with the deportation, as the flight was already over international waters. El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele confirmed the arrival of over 250 Venezuelan gang members, who were promptly sent to CECOT, the Terrorism Confinement Center.

This decisive action by Trump should have been a unifying moment for Americans. Instead, Democrats chose to denounce the move, spending their time trying to portray these criminals in a sympathetic light. American University professor Rebecca Hamilton expressed her concerns on social media, stating,
“It is important to be very clear. The people you see in this photo have not had any due process whatsoever between being uprooted from their lives & families in the U.S. and finding themselves now in CECOT prison in El Salvador.”

Joining the chorus of criticism, Brendan Nyhan, a Dartmouth political scientist, labeled the deportation video as “fascist propaganda.” Meanwhile, Democrat Senator Chris Murphy accused Trump of an “unconstitutional power grab,” questioning the necessity of invoking an 18th-century law for such deportations.

Murphy further argued,
“Remember, the whole plan is to destroy our democracy so he can turn our government – and your tax dollars – over to his billionaire friends. The slow but steady rollout of war powers (is the Insurrection Act next?) erodes our rule of law – until before we know it, it’s gone.”

Despite the backlash, Trump’s decision aligns with the mandate given to him by voters and is reflected in his rising approval ratings. Recent polls indicate that 44% of Americans believe the country is on the right track, a significant increase from the previous year.

A source from the Trump administration revealed the serious charges faced by the deported gang members, including kidnapping, sexual abuse of a child, and aggravated assault. These are not individuals seeking refuge but hardened criminals who have jeopardized the safety of American communities.

The Democrats’ inability to recognize the public’s demand for safety and order may prove to be a fatal mistake. As they continue to oppose policies that prioritize the well-being of American citizens, they risk further alienating voters who are increasingly supportive of Trump’s decisive actions.

On this, I agree with you. I have problems with Trump’s Presidency, but his handling of the migrant crisis isn’t one of them. Our borders have become too loose, and the longer it takes to fix this problem, the more dreadful the consequences shall be down the line. It’s my sense that most Americans know this, but would feel embarrassed to address the issue formally. Mr. Trump does just that, and I respect his boldness in these matters.

Anyone who thinks the violent illegals shouldn’t be deported should adopt them and be held 100% responsible for their actions for the rest of their lives!

Criminals that are wanted by the home country and our county should be in prison for life. I agree with Rick, if the Democrats like them so much, they ought to invite them to their neighborhoods.

The part that is frightening for me is whether it not these actually are criminals or gang members. No where in your article do you state that to be a fact. If some are not then what will stop Trump from rounding up and deporting any of us who disagree with his policies. Not the process of snatching up people with no due rights that I can support.

It’s also a fact, by crossing our borders illegally, they are criminals plain and simple. Criminals should be deported immediately. Their excuses don’t matter.

Didn’t hear you yelling this when the J6’er sat in jail for 2-3 years without their due process! But wait! Those were American citizens, and under the Biden administration, we became lower than the illegals whom he flooded our country with.

The judge who is trying to take presidential power needs to be arrested and “deported” himself.A presidents first responsibility is to protect the lives and property of American citizens. It doesn’t matter what method he or she chooses. This judge needs to be taught a lesson. He needs to be removed from his position for incompetence and obvious political biases. When the hell is the SCOTUS going to get off their asses and set the record straight. All of these activist judges are guilty of abusing their authority and overreach of power.

The dems will do everything they can to screw up all of the Presidents moves, like they did in his first term.

The biggest problem here is that the democrats will never agree with Trump’s policies due to their obvious derangement syndrome. If Biden had done the same, they would have celebrated this move.

So… the Democrats who voice their outrage against what Trump is doing prefer to have these terrorists in our country?!? Maybe these same Democrats need to have a few in their immediate neighborhood (like next door or in the perimeter of a city block) as see how they like these ‘fine upstanding people’ who are being separated from their family members, etc, at the hands of this administration. They are truly showing just how mentally deficient & delayed and morally corrupt they have become. Pathetic really. The wheat and the tares are growing up and the full maturity stage is soon coming for all the see in their multi-phasic colors.

The Democratic Party are acting as a deranged cult. All sitting like zombies. Holding signs. Singing in Congress Floor, all using ghe exact same message that they posted all accusing of power grab, all lying about Trump. Vance, Musk leading DOGE. They now try to portray terrorists and illegal hardened criminals as deserving more consideration than the American citizens they were elected to serve. Come 2026 we need to vote these democratic deranged cult lunatic’s out of office. Including insane judges. It’s time for common sense in this country.
